"We always enjoy our time here. The kitchen is well supplied with all utensils that we need. There are also games etc. available for rainy weather. We enjoy volleyball in the large front yard and spending time on the large deck. A fun place to go. We will be back."

"Myself, sister and her family, and our mom (eight total) converged on the Metroplex from Arkansas, San Antonio, and North Carolina for the Texas A&M/Arkansas game at AT&T (Cowboys) Stadium and a brief family reunion. The house lent itself to having some together time when we weren't at the game...fortunately we like each other. :-) I think a good time was had by all...except I was the only one happy about the outcome of the game which had nothing to do with the house.
The location is very convenient to I-820. You can actually see it from the back porch but you cannot hear it at all. Getting to I-820 on this trip was tough coming down the airport freeway because of construction so you might want to take I-30 to I-820. That route was certainly convenient to the stadium. We made it there in no time even in game traffic.
The description on the 4th bedroom is slightly off. Instead of a futon there is now another memory foam bed. I think everyone slept soundly and comfortably.
We didn't really use the kitchen but it seemed to be well stocked and in good working condition. There was a grill outside on the back porch, but we didn't use that either. We did take out and there were plenty of restaurants a short distance away and all types of food options available.
I also wanted to note there were no mobility issues for my mom. There are no stairs to navigate if that's an issue. Slight step over the threshold is the extent of it.
The only minor problem we had was the bathtub in the second bathroom was very slow draining. Nothing a little Drain-O, Liquid Plumber, or an old fashioned plunger couldn't fix. It wasn't enough to ding the overall rating.
We'll certainly keep this property in mind for next year. I hope to make this an annual event ."

"We have rented this house, now, two times and both times were WONDERFUL. The house is perfect for our large family, allowing for my family of five, my Father and my brother's family to all be comfortable. The furnishings and finish out are perfect for the lake. We love the boat house (has A/C and a stereo)! The fishing was phenomenal. We filled two large coolers with Crappie, Catfish and Bass. Time for a fish fry! We can't wait to go back."

"The cabin was just as nice as the owner! It was exactly what we were looking for. Quiet and tucked away for a very peaceful weekend of fishing and birdwatching. We were able to launch our kayak's right from the bank (Muck boots came in handy since the water's edge is marshy), and kayak fished to our heart's content. Believe me, this part of the lake is packed with fish. If you like to fish, this place is a dream. The cabin is roomy and clean, with all the cooking utensils we needed for a good ole' fish fry. We will be back for sure!!!"
