"This is a beautiful home and exactly a described. The house is even nicer than the pictures. It was so nice to stay in a large house like this instead of 4 hotel rooms. We were able to all sit around in our PJs for breakfast and end the night in the TV room. It was just like being at home. We didn't lack for anything. They have all the supplies - abundant number of bathroom towels, cleaning supplies, pots, pans, dishes, dishwasher, clothes washer, ice maker, iron, coffee maker, dish TV, and wireless internet.
Nancy is very nice to work with. She responds to questions quickly and is very helpful.
If you enjoy going outside like we do, you will find the light switch to the back porch behind the curtains in the big TV room."

"My wife and I were looking to get out of the city for the weekend and celebrate our anniversary. We also wanted to bring our dog. This house was absolutely perfect. Clean, cozy, exactly what we were looking for. Neighborhood was quiet, morning walks were serene. Beautiful view from the backyard overlooking the water. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast and we used the grill for burgers. Our dog loved it, although the ladder stairs did freak him out a little. Having the back yard fenced all the way around gave us peace of mind when he was out there. Shower was a little tight, but endless hot water made up for it. Decorations were unique and fun, and the DVD collection has some great classics. Would have loved to use the canoe, but didn't know exactly how to launch it, and it was huge. Still had fun playing cornhole and thorwing the football. The house is minutes from the town square, grocery stores, restaurants, and there was a carnival going on that weekend as well! Perfect! We will definitely be coming back to visit, and I highly recommend you do as well."

"We stayed here while we were 'home' for Christmas and it was THE most comfortable and relaxing stay. The house is absolutely wonderful and had plenty of room for my family of 5. The grounds were fantastic and we even had a fire pit which we used almost every night. The beds were so comfortable and the area was very quiet. We really enjoyed the sitting room off of the master suite. There is plenty of seating and cozy places to relax around the house both upstairs and down. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook as well as things to help with clean up. It is about a 25 min drive to Dallas/Arlington but very little traffic on the roads going up there and it is very easy to get around. Totally worth the drive to stay in this quaint and quiet setting. This would be a wonderful place for a wedding with beautiful grounds and little decorative things everywhere you look: fountains, arbors, benches and statues. The owner, Loreen, was the best owner I have ever worked with. She made the trip even better! Anything we needed or had questions about she was right there. I highly recommend staying in this house. You will not be disappointed! We will definitely be back!"
