  • Great spot for mini-family reunion and football

"Myself, sister and her family, and our mom (eight total) converged on the Metroplex from Arkansas, San Antonio, and North Carolina for the Texas A&M/Arkansas game at AT&T (Cowboys) Stadium and a brief family reunion. The house lent itself to having some together time when we weren't at the game...fortunately we like each other. :-) I think a good time was had by all...except I was the only one happy about the outcome of the game which had nothing to do with the house. The location is very convenient to I-820. You can actually see it from the back porch but you cannot hear it at all. Getting to I-820 on this trip was tough coming down the airport freeway because of construction so you might want to take I-30 to I-820. That route was certainly convenient to the stadium. We made it there in no time even in game traffic. The description on the 4th bedroom is slightly off. Instead of a futon there is now another memory foam bed. I think everyone slept soundly and comfortably. We didn't really use the kitchen but it seemed to be well stocked and in good working condition. There was a grill outside on the back porch, but we didn't use that either. We did take out and there were plenty of restaurants a short distance away and all types of food options available. I also wanted to note there were no mobility issues for my mom. There are no stairs to navigate if that's an issue. Slight step over the threshold is the extent of it. The only minor problem we had was the bathtub in the second bathroom was very slow draining. Nothing a little Drain-O, Liquid Plumber, or an old fashioned plunger couldn't fix. It wasn't enough to ding the overall rating. We'll certainly keep this property in mind for next year. I hope to make this an annual event ."

  • Perfect Stay!

"This was exactly what we needed for a memorable Aggie graduation weekend. Everything was clean and ready for us, both owner & manager a delight to work with. Because it is a little bit out of town it's very quiet, but still only a few minutes to campus. Kudos from all of our out of town guests. Hope to be able to stay again!!"

  • Such a BLESSING!

"We were in between a move in the area and needed a place to stay so we did not have to do the hotel life for 3 weeks. Alex was kind, workable, and helped us in a really stressful time. The house had all we needed and more. It is in a great location and again a HUGE BLESSING!!!"

  • Wonderful Loft!

"We stayed at The Loft over Valentine's weekend 2015 and had a wonderful time! This location is just down the street from the campus. We arrived late afternoon and decided to postpone our original plans to stay and enjoy the terrace instead. Very relaxing location among beautiful homes in a quiet setting. We enjoyed walks everyday. The owners are excellent hosts and Vicki even baked breakfast breads that were delicious. We will definitely try to stay here again soon!"
