Awesome stay-great location!
"We rented this property to meet my dad, his wife and kids who are from Arkansas half way bc we are from Midland. So we go to the area every year to spend a weekend with the family. We arrived and it was better than expected! It was nicely decorated, well maintained, and very clean. There was everything you needed there and then some. Seems like every time we would say we needed something or we wished they had something in particular we would find it in a closet! I like the way they had extra fans and an air mattress. They were also very accommodating! We asked if they had something for the baby to sleep in and when we arrived their was a small pack and play for us which was great as it didn't take up much space like the larger ones. They even went as far to go to another one of their properties to get a high chair. Internet and satellite work great. Back yard is one of the best features. We spent a majority of our time there cooking out and watching the kids play. It's close to everything and the neighborhood is quiet. I would say my only complaint was the back yard grass was a little long...but someone came the very next morning to cut it while we we were out. So I have no complaints on this property and we had an awesome weekend with family!"

"The house was absolutely perfect. Our retreat title was "Simplify" and the atmosphere there was perfect for us to all get away and really connect and fellowship with one another! It wasn't too far from town, but still far enough out to be entirely peaceful. I would recommend this house to anyone. The owner did a fantastic job of making our stay pleasant!!!"

"Myself, sister and her family, and our mom (eight total) converged on the Metroplex from Arkansas, San Antonio, and North Carolina for the Texas A&M/Arkansas game at AT&T (Cowboys) Stadium and a brief family reunion. The house lent itself to having some together time when we weren't at the game...fortunately we like each other. :-) I think a good time was had by all...except I was the only one happy about the outcome of the game which had nothing to do with the house.
The location is very convenient to I-820. You can actually see it from the back porch but you cannot hear it at all. Getting to I-820 on this trip was tough coming down the airport freeway because of construction so you might want to take I-30 to I-820. That route was certainly convenient to the stadium. We made it there in no time even in game traffic.
The description on the 4th bedroom is slightly off. Instead of a futon there is now another memory foam bed. I think everyone slept soundly and comfortably.
We didn't really use the kitchen but it seemed to be well stocked and in good working condition. There was a grill outside on the back porch, but we didn't use that either. We did take out and there were plenty of restaurants a short distance away and all types of food options available.
I also wanted to note there were no mobility issues for my mom. There are no stairs to navigate if that's an issue. Slight step over the threshold is the extent of it.
The only minor problem we had was the bathtub in the second bathroom was very slow draining. Nothing a little Drain-O, Liquid Plumber, or an old fashioned plunger couldn't fix. It wasn't enough to ding the overall rating.
We'll certainly keep this property in mind for next year. I hope to make this an annual event ."

"I brought 9 teenagers and another chaperone for some academic competition in Waco. The property was perfect. It was convenient to the venue and grocery store. The house had more than enough room for all of us. There were ample kitchen supplies although my student chef would have liked a bigger skillet :). Making our own meals and eating together was great. In their down time, the kids really enjoyed playing on the swings and zipline and watching the sheep. I liked that not having a TV made us spend time together. We were close enough to the Waco Convention center to go back and forth with no problem. We made a fire in the fire pit, cooked burgers and hot dogs on the grill, and overall thoroughly enjoyed the stay. For the students, the best part about the trip was the house (and shakes at The Health Camp!). Grace was wonderful and took care of all my questions before and upon arrival. Thank you for a wonderful experience. We will be back!"
