  • Not as luxury as expected...

"Our group stayed at this house for a family get-together. Downstairs bedroom worked well for 88 yr old grandmother but she wasn't able to rest for the alarm bell ringing every time someone went in or out the door. There were some hazards such as the fireplace hearth that came around a corner and was the same tile as the floor so folks with impaired vision and even those with good vision had a hard time seeing it and therefore my mother tripped over it right away and fell. I felt the house was oddly designed and didn't flow well for a big group. The kitchen was small for the house and didn't have as much as we needed to prepare food for 8-10 people. Needs a new coffee maker as the one that is there takes about 45 minutes to brew a pot. So you are waiting for coffee for almost an hour after getting up. With all that said, property manager was accommodating and personable. They were willing to work with us and we appreciated it. The pool is pretty and the woods behind create a nice atmosphere. This property would work well with two couples and 6-8 kids. Or a group of singles traveling together since 3 of the rooms have 2 twins or 2 double beds in them. Best thing was location and quiet neighborhood."

  • Felt just like home!

"Before leaving, Jeff sent me everything we needed to get into the house and the checklist was very helpful--that was a great idea. He also sent lists of places to eat and things to do while visiting San Antonio. We drove in for a graduation from Lackland AFB. When we arrived, the home was better than the pictures and video. The home is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood but just minutes away from stores and places to eat. It was super clean and beautiful, there was more than enough room for all of us and we enjoyed our time together with family. It was so comfortable and felt like we were home. I would love to rent here again on my next trip and would definitely reccommend it. I received my damage deposit right away, as promised. Jeff was very accommodating and it was a pleasure renting from them. Thanks for the hospitality!"

  • Beautiful Home

"If you truly want a home from home in San Antonio then this is the house for you! To say that every need was catered for is an understatement. I did try and think of something that had been missed out or where there could be improvements but failed. The house is very roomy, extremely comfortable, meticulously clean and tidy and we thoroughly enjoyed our few days here as a base for San Antonio. As has been commented on previously, we have travelled extensively across the USA & Europe and this was our favourite stay. Having a garage and rear access to the property was a real luxury and the neighbourhood felt very safe and relaxed. It's just a short drive into downtown and good access north for the outlets etc for shopping."

  • Great location!

"We had a great time walking and riding our bikes all over Southtown and even into downtown. Our labs loved sitting on the side deck and the front porch watching the neighborhood activity. They were welcome at many of the neighborhood restaurant patios. They even swam in the river down by the boat ramp. First Friday was an interesting assortment of vendor booths and open galleries. We loved grilling dinner and playing games out on the deck into the evenings."
