  • Great place to stay in trendy part of San Antonio

"My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. The location in the King William district is ideal, with great proximity to cafes, restaurants, art galleries, the River Walk and downtown. We loved the area and were able to go on many evening walks. As for the apartment: the amenities left nothing to be desired and my husband and I agree that the bed was the most comfortable we have ever slept. Everybody, from owner to building manager, was exceptionally pleasant, responded quickly to all of our requests and did their best to make us feel at home. We feel that they definitely went beyond the call of duty (e.g. helping us with car trouble). We would recommend these apartments most highly!"

  • Charming house, great rental experience

"This is an absolutely lovely home with a very eccentric, unique charm. Due to the layout, it is both very roomy and yet has quite a few good gathering areas for family togetherness. The house is in very good repair and the grounds are immaculate. Wildlife is abundant and accustomed to people, meaning you'll get some great views. The views from the main floor are stunning in looking over Texas Hill country. The pool area is beautiful and very relaxing. In all the home has a remote feel, very private, while also allowing easy access to area activities. Our checkin was a breeze and very informative. The owners were through in ensuring we enjoyed our time there. I would absolutely recommend this place."

"The house was big enough for six adults to have plenty of privacy, and enough room to roam without getting in each other's way. The coffee pot was replaced quickly when it failed to percolate properly. The linens were clean, and the towels/rags were of an adequate number. Both fireplaces were used a couple of times, and the pool/jacuzzi were used often. Had a small problem with the pool heater in that it seemed to not want to heat. The pool lights not coming on was also addressed. Manuel, and Jeff were very prompt, and helpful when requested. The yard was mown a couple of days before we left, which was nice for yard games on our last full day. The dishwasher, and laundry units operated nicely. The plates, cups, silverware, utensils, etc. were all very adequate. The garage and gate operated efficiently, except the left-side electric-eye on the larger garage door needs to be affixed more solidly. The trash bins are easy to get out to the street, and trash-bags were easily available for replacement. The only real drawback is the restriction on when you are requested to limit vehicle movement between 2200 and 0800 hours due to the neighbor's prior complaints. It really wasn't a problem, we just had to remember to do it so that we wouldn't be brought up on demerits. We actually never even saw anyone outside that property for the entire week we spent there. We split the lodging costs between three couples, so that brought it down to nightly hotel-like numbers for each couple. We never used the gas grill, but I'm sure it would have worked nicely had we needed it. The upstairs temperature seemed to be a bit higher than downstairs, which makes sense, but the two upstairs couples said they wished they could have been able to keep the temperatures a little closer to what they were downstairs. Not sure why that was happening, but I let them control their own thermostat settings upstairs. The cable worked fine on both televisions. We never used the dvd player, or the 3-D glasses. We were made aware of the method for opening the gate without using the remote-control which was convenient at times. We also had no luck with the keys working on any of the back door locks, so we had to have the last person out latch the dead-bolt on that door before exiting the front-door. Make sure the front door is unlocked before you go out front when the back door is already latched, or you'll have to get someone's attention inside the house to get back in. (personal experience..haha)"
