  • san antonio location

"we stayed in one of the other properties that are owned by Elaine. location was excellent, close to everything. picked my niece up at Amtrak station downtown, spent time at riverwalk, missions and seaworld. home was close to everything, minus the traffic. battery had malfunctioned and we were unable to get into the home, although we were arriving late, and after texting Elaine, the caretaker was there in 15min so that we were able to get in and the battery was replaced the next morning. she has super caretakers for the home for both inside and out. there wasn't anything more that we could have asked for.. we also found a restaurant that had opened the day before that was at the end of the street, (2min drive) excellent service and food."

  • Great location, great home

"We loved our stay at this ranch house in San Antonio! The location was unique and memorable, and the house's quirky vintage decor and style were appreciated by my interior design-loving family. The kids in our group were equally enchanted and had a blast exploring the grounds and watching the chickens parade by. Responsive and helpful homeowner and nice to have someone on-site for last minute questions. We'll be back!"

  • Comfortable stay and responsive owner

"We had two families with a total of 3 young children stay at this property. It was very comfortable and fit us perfectly. The bedrooms were well furnished and the living room was big enough for the kids to play in. The owner even provided some toys which the kids really enjoyed! The owner was always very responsive whenever we had questions as well. The area was nice and lots of amenities close by like grocery stores and restaurants. Would definitely recommend!"

  • Superb Hospitality Very Much Appreciated

"We had a team of 10 men down to work in San Antonio and reserved The Entire House for a month. It's a great older home and was perfect for our needs. Our guys loved the convenience of the location because from here they could spend time on the River Walks and see the town even though they were working long days. The house is homey feeling, informal, and nicely put together. The beds are comfortable, Lots Of Air Conditioning, plenty of hot water, towels, etc. It was well stocked with bedding and kitchen items; even for our long stay! The OWNER IS WONDERFUL to work with and very accommodating to our changing needs:) She and her daughter live in a little apartment in the back and are fantastic hosts, always ready to help and full of information about the city and events. When our guys wanted to add television in the rear bedrooms, she even called and had another satellite dish installed!!!! The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful and the fellows spent a lot of time outside under the trees relaxing. Everybody felt at home even though they were on the road for such a long time! When we have another project in San Antonio that requires housing, we will definitely stay again!! Thank You So Much For Your Hospitality!!"
