  • Great spot for mini-family reunion and football

"Myself, sister and her family, and our mom (eight total) converged on the Metroplex from Arkansas, San Antonio, and North Carolina for the Texas A&M/Arkansas game at AT&T (Cowboys) Stadium and a brief family reunion. The house lent itself to having some together time when we weren't at the game...fortunately we like each other. :-) I think a good time was had by all...except I was the only one happy about the outcome of the game which had nothing to do with the house. The location is very convenient to I-820. You can actually see it from the back porch but you cannot hear it at all. Getting to I-820 on this trip was tough coming down the airport freeway because of construction so you might want to take I-30 to I-820. That route was certainly convenient to the stadium. We made it there in no time even in game traffic. The description on the 4th bedroom is slightly off. Instead of a futon there is now another memory foam bed. I think everyone slept soundly and comfortably. We didn't really use the kitchen but it seemed to be well stocked and in good working condition. There was a grill outside on the back porch, but we didn't use that either. We did take out and there were plenty of restaurants a short distance away and all types of food options available. I also wanted to note there were no mobility issues for my mom. There are no stairs to navigate if that's an issue. Slight step over the threshold is the extent of it. The only minor problem we had was the bathtub in the second bathroom was very slow draining. Nothing a little Drain-O, Liquid Plumber, or an old fashioned plunger couldn't fix. It wasn't enough to ding the overall rating. We'll certainly keep this property in mind for next year. I hope to make this an annual event ."

  • Great Girlfriends Escape Weekend

"Fantastic "off season" trip with a group of high school girlfriends. Secluded private beach (we had it ALL to ourselves). Panoramic ocean view from the spacious deck on comfortable patio furniture. Spectacular front row seat to dramatic thunder and lightning show ! Highly recommend this 3rd floor condo (right off the elevator) with covered parking space. We shall return ! Thanks Lauren for everything."

  • Delivered and exceeded expectation!

"Absolutely thrilled with the location and facilities. The Condo was perfectly located near Elevator and had a large balcony area. I sat out most early evenings enjoying the peaceful sounds and cool breezes. We took advantage of both pools and hot tubs during our stay. The grounds (back yard area) is like a park with picnic tables and grills. There was a small family reunion happening one day and we almost didn't notice! The river runs right behind the property and a popular Tubing Company "Pick up spot" is next door. Easily walked to Schlitterbahn Water Park as well. My wife usually has complaints of back pain after a day or two in a hotel. The bedding here was wonderful and not a single complaint of back pain once. SLEPT WONDERFULLY! We tend to visit in mid fall this area and will definitely have this condo on radar for our next stay and also looking as a family get together spot for the summer. We will be back!"

  • Wonderful house!

"This is a great vacation rental central to many cities near Galveston. We enjoyed the spacious garage and the children loved to run in the large backyard and swinging on the porch swing. My daughter said it best, " Wow, this is better than three hotels!""

Texas Travel Tips

Activities at Texas Beach Rentals

Texas's southeastern border runs along the Gulf of Mexico. It is one of the less populated areas of the state and a great vacation option. You can enjoy beautiful views that stretch out over the Gulf from Galveston beach house rentals or South Padre beach vacation rentals. There are many activities in the area including deep sea fishing, beachcombing and sailing. If you plan to visit the coastal regions, it is best to do so in the spring and early summer months when the weather is milder. It can be fun exploring the smaller coastal towns, and browsing antique shops and general stores for souvenirs.
