"We stayed at the Blackberry Retreat house for a week with our family - our 5 kids with their spouses and our 14 grandkids. We couldn't have asked for better accommodations! It was the perfect set-up for our family, with each couple having a bedroom and bath for themselves and plenty of beds for the kiddos. The two teenage girls loved having the loft as their own little get-away. The lodge is very well-maintained, well-stocked and the view from the deck is lovely. The manager, Mark is really friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful week of boating, jet-skiing, fishing, swimming in the pool and lounging on the beach. The small beach down by the Marina is nice but we really loved North Beach in Idaho, just a 20 min. drive away. The whole family loved this house and Bear Lake, and everyone wants it to be our new go-to vacation destination!"

"Wonderful vacation! 6 adults and 3 babies had a very comfortable stay in the Lazy Moose Cabin. Everything was very clean and cozy feeling. The playground in the backyard was great. There was everything we could possibly need other than food and clothing. Such wonderful memories were made and we would definitely stay there again."

"This home was perfect for our family! Each family had their own room with bathroom and the large open kitchen/living area was wonderful! The second refrigerator was a total must-have! The view was fantastic! We loved eating out on the deck because of the view! The bedrooms were surprisingly spacious - the bottom level rooms even had high ceilings! The loft is huge - it has 2 futons, and then still has so much room that you can sleep tons of kids on the floor! The master suite is on the main floor, 2 bedrooms on either side of the loft on the upper level, and 3 bedrooms on the lower level. Each level has its own thermostat. The location was close to everything. It's truly a fantastic house - but communication with the owner was not easy. We felt like we had to pull information out of her. And then during our stay, the WiFi didn't work for the 5 days we were there. The owner referred us to the internet company (who said it sounded like a router problem) but the owner never followed up to see if we ever got it working. Also, a previous guest had put parental locks on two of the t.v.'s (the ones in the common areas) so viewing selection was extremely limited and nothing was done to fix that either. The a/c and fan also went out on the lower level while we were there so the basement was quite stuffy and muggy until evening when we could open windows for air flow. All that being said, we'd probably stay there again now that we know what we're in for - but we'd probably check to make sure some things had been remedied first."
