  • Fantastic Spot!

"We enjoyed a week at the Alpine Lodge with 2 other families. The lodge is very well equipped for a group and so convenient to Solitude and Brighton and the Nordic center. Despite warm temperatures when we arrived, we were treated to 10" of fresh powder on day 2! We took advantage of skiing, boarding, Nordic skiing and snowshoing. The owner was easy to work with and recommended a great caterer so we could host a team dinner for my son's hockey team and families in SLC for Nationals. We hope to be back to the Alpine Lodge next year!!"

  • Awesome lodge!

"This lodge was perfect for a family gathering! Right on the ski slopes so we had fun skiing, sitting by the fire, and spending time together. The caretaker was very nice and found ways to make our stay better without being asked (brought out sleds for the kids and flags for our "capture the flag" snowball fight). The short hike up in the snow was a bit challenging for the older folks in our group, but it didn't stop them from getting out and enjoying the area. We will definitely be back!"

  • Great vacation

"Our family had a wonderful time. It had been years since we had all been together. I had forgotten how much I missed them all. The view was wonderful. There were many opportunities for adventure, like sliding down the old coal chute. The cabin (that seems like a bizarre thing to call this spacious home). Opportunities for walking were nmerous. We'd all take off at the drop of the hat to go on yet another adventure. I'm 72. I'm just stating that to let you know that the site, which is up a mountain did not limit me at all. Well, my husband (aged 83) had to pull me up, after a visit to the fishing site on the lake. It was on the final day of our visit. The cabin had all the amenities of home. And maybe a few more. When I walked in, it took my breath away. I'm certain any family would enjoy it. We had family members from five to 83. As you can tell, I highly recommend it."

  • Scraggly Squirrel/Angry Beaver

"I had such a great time staying here in January that I had to return. The hosts, Honi and Dave, are such wonderful people. They make you feel like family each and every time. The cabin is well stocked with everything you could possible need, just add snowboards and food and you are set for a great time. We even had a momma moose and baby stop by for a visit while we were there. Wonderful place, great amenities, awesome location. Can't wait to visit again and again."
