  • October Getaway

"Our family took off to Southern Utah and stayed for 3 nights at this home. The home was beautifully kept up - everything you could want in the kitchen to cook and eat with. I loved the pictures in the kitchen cabinets and drawers - everyone in the family knew where to put things away not just the cook! We enjoyed the homemade bread and cookies that was provided. Tracy answered any questions we had about the property quickly. We loved the night stars with no distracting lights. There was a closet full of games for the kids to enjoy when they weren't hiking around the property. Our family hiked in Orderville, wandered through all the rock shops and played in the sand dunes. It was a perfect getaway for a bit of family togetherness."

  • Great house!

"Everyone in our group (9 people) was very happy with the accommodations. Great views of sunrise in back and sunset in front. Plenty of room for everyone and the location is perfect for access to Bryce, Zion, Cedar Breaks, and Grand Canyon. Grill on deck and fire pit in back were put to good use. Coolers, games, folding chairs, and inflatable bed all came in handy. No problems with hot water or water pressure in showers. Enjoyed our stay and would reserve again if we return to the area, but there are more areas of country to explore. Only three minor things - oven could have been cleaner, dishwasher probably needs to be replaced, and for a house that sleeps 10, only seating for 8 at dining room table. As I said, minor things. I would strongly recommend this house to anyone who plans to visit these parks."

  • A sweet and charming home

"The Homeplace fit us perfectly! There was plenty of room for 7. The kids and the grandkids loved the pond and enjoyed daily canoe rides! Although the fish in the pond were too tiny to catch, the kids just had a blast fishing. The vegetable garden in the back wasnt quite what I expected since there was nothing there to harvest. The fruit on the apple trees weren't ready to pick either but it was still nice to know it's available if you book during harvest seasin. The property was great! We watched the neighbors herd in their cows which is a rare sight for us to see since we're from Vegas! We will definitely consider staying here again."

  • Great location

"This little cabin is centrally located to National Parks and State Parks. If you like quiet, quiet, quiet and want to see Zion, Bryce Canyons along with Coral Pink Sand Dunes and don't mind a few miles drive to each....this is the place. Great loft for kids. Wi-fi worked great as did TV. Also near some great hikes in Grand Staircase Escalante and be sure to go to Cedar Breaks (some might call it a mini Bryce Canyons). Be sure to take in a few meals (pizza fabulous as is the pastrami sandwich) at Forscher German Bakery & Restaurant (Orderville UT). Thunderbird Restaurant, public laundry facilities Mt. Carmel, car wash Kanab."
