"Three friends and I spent five nights in Mike's condo during the first week of March. This was a special ski trip for us as we live in New England and every year we ski somewhere back home for a couple of days. We wanted to do something special to commemorate the 25th year of these outings, and Utah delivered in every way. We skied Alta (twice), Snowbird and Solitude. Each was spectacular, as was Mike's condo. Access from SLC airport is an easy 25 minute drive, and access to the slopes is about the same. The condo itself was in fine shape, very clean, spacious and comfortable (though we are happy to learn that Mike will be replacing the lousy futon soon!). The weather was great and we even barbequed on the back deck one night. Easy drive to food shopping and several great bars/restaurants. The view out the large living room window is spectacular. Mike was very accommodating and responsive throughout. Two of us rented equipment from Mike's pals at Twin Peaks, which is just a two minute drive, and we just left the equipment in the garage when we were done--Mike took care of the returns. Thanks for everything, would highly recommend."Guest: Anonymous Date of Stay: March 2014 Review Submitted: March 19, 2014View listing
"My coworkers and I stayed here for a week during a busy work trip. We were delighted with the house and the property manager who was very kind and helpful. The house is cozy and the beds are incredibly comfortable! Best nights of sleep I've had in a while. The house overlooks the valley and the views are stunning. I found some hiking trails within walking distance as well and enjoyed strolling through the charming neighborhood. I'd definitely recommend staying here."Guest: Anita Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: June 5, 2014View listing
"This place had everything we needed and then some. If you like to cook on a great ski/snowboard vacation this place has all the pots, pans, tools, dishes, and kitchen accessories you'll need to make excellent meals. It also had a gas grill and a charcoal grill. The place had plenty of space for my group of 10 people. Everybody had a comfy bed to sleep in. Great location! 12 minutes door to door to Snowbird and Alta, and about 25 minutes to Solitude and Brighton. Great fair price for this great place. I'd rent it again!"Guest: Bruno O. "We - my family - wanted a place for basing a three-week look at Salt Lake City as a potential retirement location. Of equal importance was proximity to hiking/outdoor rec' opportunities in the Cottonwood Canyons. A well-stocked kitchen becomes really important on a longer trip. Between the kitchen and the grill on the deck, we baked and cooked and grilled and enjoyed many meals there. Jim's place had everything we wanted and more. He's a proactive owner who happened to be around when my son and I first arrived. Responsive to questions. The house info' binder in the living room had lots of good tips to local restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Jim provided the latest info in our conversations. His directions on final approach were spot on."Guest: Ranger Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 30, 2014View listing
