The north facing steep slopes of Bald Mountain (at 9,400 feet) appeal mostly to intermediate and advanced skiers. Among the beginner to expert runs available at Flagstaff Mountain (9,100 feet) are also special runs and play areas for children to properly learn how to ride the slopes.
