  • Beautiful town home.

"Location is just 2 blocks from Park City Mountain Resort lifts. Beautifully decorated and nicely maintained town home. The owner and local manager are both very friendly, helpful, and easy to work with. We brought our two married children with their spouses and small children, along with two unmarried children and there was room for everyone. It made a great base camp for family activities at the Canyons, PCMR, and Jordonelle. Just ne block from the city park and a wonderful playground. Great for the grandkids."

  • Ski Vacation

"We rented this lovely home for an 8 night ski vacation in February 2014. We were travelling with 3 adults and 3 teens and this home exceeded all of our expectations. We loved the ski in/out, everyone could begin & end their day separately. We all enjoyed the hot tub each day after skiing and a fire every night when we got home from dinner. Everyone was thrilled with the 2 block walk to Main Street for shopping and dining. The beds were sooo comfortable, cozy family room furniture and the kitchen was well stocked, we ate in 2 nights. Would be afraid to rent anywhere else! This home had it all."

  • Unbeatable price in Park City for what it is

"My husband and I just got back from a week staying in the Powderloft. We used it as a basecamp to check out all of the Park City area ski resorts. While we enjoyed our stay, there were a few surprises that I wanted others to be aware of. But first, I will say that it is a true to the photos, clean and well maintained. Our first annoyance was that the walls in the Prospector are ridiculously thin. I'm sure this may all be a matter of what you are used to in apartment buildings and motels/hotels, but to us it seemed like everything came right through the walls - babies crying, showers running, people walking in ski boots, etc. (And we live in a townhouse/condo so we are used to living with shared wall space). We found it very hard to sleep the first couple nights, until we found a fan in the loft that drowned out the noise (and even then I had to use earplugs to sleep). The second annoyance was that the "on site" jacuzzi was a pretty far walk for winter. Part of the reason I jumped at this place was because I love an apres ski hot tub soak. The jacuzzi is so far away I felt the need to drive over to it because by the time I would have soaked and walked back, I'd be cold again. All this being said however, the price of the Powderloft is about 1/5 that of similar studio type rentals in Park City, so I feel a bit bad complaining. While it was a great value, I'm not sure we'll stay here again - I think we'd be willing to pay a bit more to have thicker walls and a closer hot tub. However if neither of the above things would bother you and/or you really like getting a steal of a deal, I would definitely recommend the Powderloft. I just wanted to write a review so others would not be surprised as we were by these things."
