  • Amazing place to stay

"We chose this cabin for its central location to Bryce and Zion and it was perfect!! The cabin is extremely roomy and yet cozy. We had a great time preparing meals in the large kitchen and enjoying the food with our family and friends. The town is small but has most everything you need and the people are very friendly. We definitely plan on coming back again!!!"

  • Seamus nc Gill

"I have been staying at this cabin for a few years now and must say my family and I love it. It is roomy ,comfortable, high end with lots of space for one or more families. We love the basement family room, the upstairs dining area and the book in the kitchen. The master suite has the most comfortable bed ever! We enjoyed nightly Smoors by the fire pit and the starlit sky is amazing."

  • A white Christmas in a gorgeous cabin

"This was the first time my gf and I had rented a cabin in Duck Creek, but it will not be our last. We hope this cabin is available for our next trip. We arrived on Christmas Eve and were immediately awe-struck, this cabin is gorgeous! The way it is decorated is so homey that you cant help but feel welcome. After taking care of our bags and groceries away, up went our Christmas tree and on went the fire. The cabin itself is spacious, very well insulated from the cold and has all the amenities of your own home (WIFI, Satellite TV, flat screens, full sized washer and dryer, fully stocked modern kitchen, etc). Since it was so cold we spent most of time time indoors by the fire and it was perfect. The pictures really do not give this home justice. If you are looking for a cabin in Duck Creek I cannot recommend this one enough, you will love it!"

  • Excellent Mountain Cabin

"Ref: VRBO I and my family recently stayed in this vacation rental June 26 thru July 3 , 2014. I was extremely impressed the minute I walked in the door. There were three family units staying for a week in this 4 bedroom unit and the layout was excellent for a family gathering. The place was clean. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and basic stuff like paper towels and cleaners. This is important as the location is more remote. The appliances and TVs worked. The linens and towels were well stocked and of high quality. There was a game room downstairs with a nice pool table. This place became the true base for what developed into a fantastic, memorable week. You walk out onto the balcony and there is the Dixie National Forest at your back door. That made for great evening hikes. There is no AC but we didn't need it. You are at 10,800 ft elevation. This rental is ideally located for national park vacationers. It is within easy driving distance of Grand Canyon, Zion, Bryce. Cedar Breaks is real near and an overlooked gem. It's also a rental nestled in Dixie National Forest where you can relax at the unit without having to go anywhere. I advise extreme care driving at evening/night as there are deer everywhere. There was a downside finding the place the night we arrived--after dark. The 39 mile marker off Rt 14 was not there and there was no street sign or identifiable street sign or marker to indicate where to turn off Rt 14. This really needs to be fixed. But like all challenges of vacations the nocturnal search for the place ended up being a memorable experience. So try not to arrive after dark! There is a small store 2 miles away at the junction of Rt 14 & 89 and you can get gas there also. Otherwise Duck Creek Village is down the road with a few more services. That place is ATV heaven if you want to do ATVs. I do recommend Pinewood Restaurant, which is off Rt 14 towards Duck Creek. In summary this is an upscale 5 star rental unit, reasonably priced, and in a great location for the national park system. It was as advertised and an excellent value. Based upon the way the place is set up it would also make a good fall/ winter retreat."
