  • A sweet and charming home

"The Homeplace fit us perfectly! There was plenty of room for 7. The kids and the grandkids loved the pond and enjoyed daily canoe rides! Although the fish in the pond were too tiny to catch, the kids just had a blast fishing. The vegetable garden in the back wasnt quite what I expected since there was nothing there to harvest. The fruit on the apple trees weren't ready to pick either but it was still nice to know it's available if you book during harvest seasin. The property was great! We watched the neighbors herd in their cows which is a rare sight for us to see since we're from Vegas! We will definitely consider staying here again."

  • Beautiful Large Home!

"I rented this home for my daughter's "destination" wedding week, for her Bachlorette Party and Bridal Shower. We had 18 women that traveled from all over the US and Europe at the house for this two day event. The home is VERY large and very clean and well kept. Everyone had a bed to sleep in and there were ample bathrooms for 18 women! The kitchen, dinette, dining room and living room were ample gathering space for a group of this size. All of us were able to squeeze in around the large dining room table to eat our meals together. The basement level is very large and open and we enjoyed this area for our gathering space and games as well. We used the well appointed kitchen extensively to cook meals for the group, there are ample pots and pan, serving dishes, coffeemaker, etc. The double oven, warming tray, dishwasher, refrigerator with ice maker are all new and in beautiful working condition. there are two laundry rooms, which we did not utilize, but I'm sure would come in very handy for an extended stay. there is a two stall garage with room for two additional cars in the driveway. Note there is no street parking allowed. I would highly recommend this property for a large group/family event! It was PERFECT!"

  • Location, location, location

"This well-appointed, spacious home is ideal for groups that require privacy with 4 en-suites. The location is within 20 minutes of being seated on the lifts of 4 resorts, and less than a half hour from the airport. Great selection of restaurants within 10 minutes."

  • Moab solitude.

"If you are looking for a great retreat from the crowds in a terrific setting and if you have a four wheel drive vehicle this place is for you. The owner John, is very engaging and has been upfront about the only drawback of this cabin. It is difficult to get to. (On the other hand, that is part of its charm!). The road that Google suggests, Sand Flats, comes in from the West and North and is a legitimate jeep road in many sections. We arrived late in the day during a rain storm and between the narrow, rocky, muddy surface and the sharp curves that hug small canyon walls, it got a little exciting. It didn't take us long, however, to discover a much easier way in from the South. I highly recommend, for those less adventurous souls, that the trek up LaSal Mountain Loop Road to a much shorter segment of Sand Flats is preferable. The final quarter mile to the cabin is a rocky and muddy road that turns off of Sand Flats. Again I highly recommend a 4 wheel drive vehicle with ample clearance. The access to the property and the property setting are beautiful on their own. The porch offers great views of Canyonlands, Arches, and the LaSal mountains. Take time to hike around the property, enjoy sunrise and sunset and the great night sky. The cabin itself is very clean, we'll decorated and equipped, and very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. We used the queen bed in the back bedroom and found it very comfortable. This is a great place to relax and enjoy the best nature has to offer. It took us about an hour and a half to get from it to either Arches or Canyonlands. Those parks are awesome and to some degree when you stay at the property you feel a bit like you never left them. That works out well since, at least in our case, between the road conditions and the travel times we sometimes felt we had to leave the National Parks a little early so we could avoid traveling the jeep road in the dark and rain. Bottom line, if you are a bit adventuresome this property is a great place to stay. You'll make some unexpected memories and have some great stories."
