  • TIMBER "ACE" for large golf groups

"We are a group of HS Alums from Wisconsin (grad.1965) that gather every couple years to reconnect for four days, play some golf and raise a little money for our alma mater. We usually have 28-32 guys. We’ve been all over the country, played some great courses…and stayed at some fantastic places. We’ve found that doing everything first-rate keeps the guys coming back. We’re all over 65 now…and have been around the “golf trip destination, courses & accommodations” block many times. We know what “excellent” looks like. What we didn’t know…until we went to Park City and stayed at Timber Moose Lodge...was what “INCREDIBLE” looked like! The golf at Soldier Hollow and Wasatch Mountain was scenic, challenging and simply wonderful…and the green fees a remarkable value. Snake Creek Grill in Heber City was a find for our group dinner out one evening. But it was Timber Moose Lodge that blew us away. "INCREDIBLE" by every measure...and by acclamation per all that attended. The Great Room was a superb place to gather and relax…and the Wet Bar a perfect spot to share a drink while reliving shots from the days golf…or laughing till it hurt at the retelling of old stories from the days of high school high jinx. The Dining Area and adjacent Kitchen were the best we’ve ever enjoyed, perfect for our 30-man early breakfasts and stay-in dinners. The pool…the hot tub…the sauna…WOW! We’re an “up late, and then up again early” group, so sleep was low on our list of things to take advantage of…which was too bad, because the bedrooms at Timber Moose were beautiful, comfortable and way beyond over-the-top. The web site pictures don't do the rooms justice. BOTTOM LINE: If you’ve been lucky enough to find this web site, you’ve just “Aced” your search for the place to take your outing or otherwise. Timber Moose Lodge is a “Bucket List” kind of place…right up there with playing Augusta if you’re a golfer. Simply writing a review seems a disservice to those of you who may be a group similar to ours. A review limits us in our effort to convey what a great place this was. The golf gods did us a favor when they introduced Timber Moose to us…and we want to return the kindness by urging you to enjoy the trip of lifetime here…as our “STILL CRAZY” group did in September. We'll never forget it! Best trip ever. Best accommodations ever."

  • Thank you so so much for opening up your home to help us create a memorable weekend!

"Thank you so so much for opening up your home to help us create a memorable weekend! - it was a great, fun, easily reachable but removed getaway destination. Very fun, spacious, and relaxing. And beautiful! Our favorite: The wall pipe game...I've never seen so many full grown men be so engrossed in one activity for so long!!! Loved the game selection, the heated floors, the hot tub!"

  • Great rental

"Our family reunion of 24 were so pleased with this cabin. The four floors allowed families with younger children a quiet place for naps while teens, parents and adolescence were able to enjoy the pool table, ping pong, air hockey and great outdoors. For our family, who came from five different states, it was a perfect the mountains far enough to allow us to spend time together without distractions, but near enough to Heber for necessary get aways, We loved our stay and would definitely recommend this for another family. It is a great place to accommodate a range of ages, the furnishings are comfortable and plentiful for a large group to sit together for family time, the bedrooms are well placed allowing privacy and quiet. The outside area is beautiful. We were visited by a moose! The owner worked well with us and responded immediately when we had some concerns the first day with problems due to the person managing the home. The owner was so prompt to accommodate us that I would not be concerned that the situation could happen again. The cabin is hard to find. The directions said to use gps but only one family had service in the area so gps did not work for the other four families. There needs to be a map in the packet. Since it is high atop a mountain it takes 20 minutes to get anywhere, which we loved but you need to be prepared. This will be a cherished memory because the accommodations were perfect for us."

  • Place to Share with Family

"We had a great time at your place. Was my husband and I and our 4 children with their spouses and grand children. We had more then enough room. Was very clean place. We spent one day at Deer Creek Resevoir and another day doing the zip line in Provo Canyon. We highly recommend that and can find coupon for half price on KSL around Christmas time. Even our 5 year old twin grand daughters did it and loved it. There was pretty much anything we needed there. Monica was so accomadating to us. I had a ball getting into hot tub with my little grand daughters and after they went to bed older kids got in under the stars. My kids were upset I did not do more then 3 nights. So next time will do so. Thanks again Monica."
