"Here's the truth-my family loves hiking vacations, and trying out new places. With our time constraints, we knew it would be over 100 degrees each day, and I was trying to convince myself that it would be great. Well, I wish I knew a word that meant 1000 times better than fantastic! The house so comfortable and lovely, and it really was well stocked, and left us just needing to get what we needed for meals. All we had to do for great June hiking was leave early in the AM for the spots that would have the heat (Pink Coral Dunes, Bryce Canyon and Snow Canyon,) and start later for places where the temps would drop, like Cedar Breaks (which was our favorite, for the whole group.) Please make sure to go here-it is so cool, and so beautiful, and we had not planned it as part of our trip. Confluence Park, in La Verkin, also not planned, was quite nice to visit, and quite close to the house.
Like everyone else, we loved the little pool with the calming waterfall, and the surrounding wildlife at the house. The neighbors were friendly, and we really enjoyed having such a comfortable place to relax after busy days at Zion, Bryce Canyon etc. Our ages are 20-87. Some of us had to step aside for some things, like Angel's Landing in Zion, and parts of Bryce Canyon, but we will all look back on this trip as one with truly awesome memories."
