  • Great place to stay

"What a beautiful house! My husband and I stayed for a week while on a golfing trip. The house has all the amenities, great shower, beautiful kitchen, and the views are amazing. It's nice to have the freedom of cooking a meal or eating out. Restaurants are about a 15 minute drive, but we didn't mind. There's a Walmart close by for groceries, very convenient. The area is up and coming, with Sand Hollow Golf Course 2 minutes away (highly recommend a round there if you're a golfer). Thank you to Greg and Janet for making their property available, and for all their help before and during our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!"

  • Beautiful house, beautiful neighborhood with amazing views in June 2012

"We shared this house with one other couple for the month of June 2012 while we toured and hiked anything and everything within 50 miles. The house was very spacious, spotless and accommodated our every need. In the afternoon, after hiking, we would have drinks on the patio. Businesses like Walmart and other food stores, movies, and wine shops were close by Our main attraction was Zion National Park. In our month in Hurricane, UT we hiked every trail in that park. The weather was virtually cloudless for the first three weeks. The golf course is beautiful with distracting views that were incredible. I forgot to enter this at the end of last summer, so the dates don't match up. Sorry."

  • Great house for extended family trip!

"This house was great for our extended family Thanksgiving trip. There was lots of space for all of us and it was a great home base for going to Zion's. Phyllis is great to work with and everything was super clean."

  • Incredible Utah House!!

"This house was even better than the pictures. So clean and quiet, great for relaxing after a day of hiking. From here it's only a few hours to so many varying places - desert to alpine meadows to canyons! We hired a guide to go canyoneering and rock climbing, my 14 year old daughter will never forget this trip! My friends and family were jealous after seeing pictures of the house and places that we went - I would recommend it without hesitation. The manager of the house, Don was very helpful and responsive to our questions. There was a lot of information he had left in the house with suggestions for restaurants, groceries and outings - greatly appreciated! We've rented a number of times using vrbo and this was the best so far!"

Hurricane Travel Tips

Hurricane Lodging: Close to Washington County Events

At Hurricane lodging, pronounced "Her-ah-kun" by the locals, you can enjoy a pristine location in Utah's Washington County. The city has something to offer no matter what time of year you plan your vacation. Popular events include the Dam to Dam Race, the Easter Car Show, the Holiday Tree Festival, Peach Days, Pioneer Days, and the Washington County Fair. If you're planning to head to the area for one of these events, make sure you book your Hurricane lodging ahead of time.

Escape to the Perfect Vacation Destination

If you prefer sweeping vistas that blend mountains with canyons to the irritating sand you'll find at any beach, then Hurricane vacation homes are the perfect home base for your vacation. When you stay in Utah vacation rentals, you can pick what amenities you want. Need a place with more than one bedroom? You can find it. Do you want a place with a fully equipped kitchen so you can enjoy cooking? Hurricane lodging can provide that too. With so many vacation rentals available, there's no reason why you should opt for a small, noisy hotel.

Explore Utah's Natural Beauty

Hurricane vacation homes put you in the heart of Utah's outdoor recreational opportunities. The North Rim of the Grand Canyon is just two hours away. Cedar Breaks National Monument is less than an hour's drive from Hurricane, and the route offers exceptional views along the way. Bryce Canyon National Park is within driving distance. If you want something closer, visit the Babylon Section of the Red Cliffs Desert Preserve. Hosted by Hurricane, the Babylon Section is part of a 62,000-acre preserved area that protects three ecosystems: the Mojave Desert, the Colorado Plateau, and the Great Basin. When you finish exploring the varied terrain that Utah has to offer, head back to your vacation rental in Hurricane and enjoy your home away from home.
