  • Feels like home

"This is a very nice place, clean and feels like home, indeed. The main reason why we rented it is to have kitchen. And this home had everything for our needs: skillets, pans and pots and many utensils. For family oriented trips where you need to cook (and not just bake pizza) this is ideal. The rooms were also very clean and nicely furnished. I would definitely recommend this place and would come back again!."

  • Comfortable, convenient location for national park visits

"Well-equipped cottage (with a very nice patio) which we used as a home base to visit the awesome nearby national parks and monuments. We also enjoyed the location in Kanab which is within easy walking distance of grocery stores, restaurants, McDonald's, gas stations, small movie theatre, local interest shops, etc. The manager was reponsive and communicative and efficient, i.e., very good to work with. This is absolutely beautiful country!"

  • This should be called Goldena's PALACE

"The happy folks who wrote the review right below ours stole our thunder. This log home has more amenities than you can appreciate in a five day stay. We found out about Bob and Dru's place from a friend. We were happy to know that Kanab UT was centrally located between a weeks worth of exploration for first time Utah visitors. The pictures and description do not really tell it all. Aside from the... large open floor plan, the tiled floors, leather sofa's, Direct TV, awesome bathroom, dimmers everywhere, central AC, gas wood-stove, games in the cupboard!, spices in another one, a well stocked bookshelf, extra towels, sheets and laundry tabs, charcoal grill, rabbits in the yard, really cool diffused lighting in the eaves of both front and back patios.... The most memorable moment was when a perfectly clear night offered up the Milky Way galaxy spanning from horizon to horizon right overhead. The icing on the cake! Zion...Bryce....a drive on Route 12 from Bryce to Escalante, the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon and Glen Canyon Dam are all between 45 and 90 minutes away and each one is amazing and different from the other. Best Friends Animal Sanctuary just outside of town should not be missed either. Goldena's is an unbelievable home....being so close to so much made our vacation perfect beyond words. The owners, Dru and Bob, are as great as everything else mentioned on this site. Stay at Goldena's."

  • Well Equipped and Comfortable

"Everyone in our party of three adults said they would be happy to stay here again. The townhouse is well maintained and everything seemed to be in good repair. The double beds and the furniture were all very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and includes some basic condiments, coffee filters, and such. You will also find a portable ice box, towels for the pool, and other things to make your stay more convenient. There is a small barbeque and two chairs but no table on the patio."
