"My family spent a week at this rental in Kanab in August 2015. The rental was very clean, and nicely furnished. Tyler was very reachable, and very responsive to any questions or concerns. The view from the back patio was relaxing with horses in the corral and the red rocks visible, and we spent a good amount of time out there in the mornings and evenings when the weather was cooler. We all enjoyed watching the hummingbirds fly around.
Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were spacious and clean. Washer and dryer were functioning well, and we certainly used them after hiking around the area. Kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed for the stay, and coolers were available and certainly came in handy! The gas grill was added during our stay, and was very easy to use.
The rental is located in a residential area of Kanab, which we found to be very quiet and friendly. The pool is small and we used it only once during our stay, but it was convenient to have. The town of Kanab is within walking distance of the rental, although after hiking during the day we chose to drive to save our legs. Two grocery stores made shopping very easy, as well as decent restaurants, gas stations, and pharmacy. Groceries are noticeably a bit more expensive in Kanab, so we stocked up on nonperishables in St. George (where there is a Wal-Mart). The rental is about 40 minutes drive to the east entrance of Zion, 25 minutes to the German bakery in Orderville, and roughly 1-1.5 hours to both Bryce and the north rim of the Grand Canyon. Easy driving, at least in the summertime. If you have older children, don't miss sledding down the sand dunes at Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park (go early in the morning), and the nighttime star gazing at Cedar Breaks State Park, also nearby.
The only recommendation we have is to provide a TV channel listing, and perhaps replace the off-white towels.
We would love to return for another visit!!"

"We stayed here for two weeks and had a great time. If you love to hike and need a very comfortable and well equipped house...this is it. We hiked Bryce, Zion, Red Canyon, Capital Reef, Kodachrome and some within blocks of the house. The house is beautiful and in a good neighborhood . We have stayed in several VRBO homes in the past and this one is among the best we've experienced."

Great location for Best Friends volunteering, sleepovers, and visiting surrounding canyons!
"Muriel's Place was a very comfortable home that provided everything we needed, including space to bring home a sleepover dog from Best Friends Animal Sanctuary each day we volunteered! They have provided a pet-friendly environment including dog dishes, fenced yard, and even a scooper! The house is in a great location on a quiet street, and is a quick 5-10 minute trip to the Sanctuary. Kanab is a quaint town and is centrally located to several beautiful places that we checked out during our visit, including Zion National Park, Lake Powell, Antelope Canyon, Bryce Canyon, and Grand Canyon (North Rim)."
