  • Fabulous property and house!

"I totally agree with Rachel, that the house had everything our group of 7 needed (plus extras): a well stocked kitchen, hundreds of books and dvds, nice linens, pool table and jacuzzi. It really is as represented. It has the eccentricities of an old house, but it was not drafty. In fact, it was very cozy, despite the fact that it is quite large. Pictures of all of the bedrooms are not in the listing, but be assured that one room is cuter than the next. Also, Jerry was terrific to work with. We accidentally locked ourselves out on the first night, and within minutes he was at the house to help us. Check in and out was simple. We found Ogden to be an odd town, but we enjoyed indoor rock climbing at The Front, and a casual dinner at Slackwater Pub and Pizzeria. The house was centrally located, and we got everywhere we wanted in about 5 minutes. However, the highlight of the trip was hanging out at the house!"

  • Perfect Acommodation for an Active/Sightseeing Vaction

"I stayed here for a month to prepare for the 2014 Masters Nationals Cycling Championships. The apartment had all the necessary features for a comfortable home from home experience. The basement was handy for storing my bikes, tools and wheels etc. The apartment is just a mile or so east of the historic downtown Ogden (on 25th) and is also fairly close to the Canyon Rd for a short drive to the Pinewood Reservoir and the Snowbasin Ski resort. Owner and family are locals and very welcoming and friendly."

  • Comfort and Convenience

"We loved this wonderful place, and Deborah was more than welcoming as we arrived for our 3 day stay in Ogden. We feel so lucky to have found this gem. It is clean, large, and has all the necessities of a short trip! The queen sized bed is super comfortable, and I wished I could take that adorable bathroom and plunk it down in my own house! Thanks for everything, Deborah!"

Ogden Travel Tips

Ogden Vacation Rentals Offer a Host of Outdoor Activities

Although Ogden is best known for its winter sports, it is also a fantastic center for an active vacation from spring through fall. It is just 40 miles north of Salt Lake City at the gateway to Snowbasin Resort, Powder Mountain Resort and Wolf Mountain Resort. Once the meeting place of trappers and traders, Ogden was established as a trading post and resting place for pioneers in the early 1800s. Even Al Capone declared Ogden "too wild for his tastes," and prizefighting boxer Jack Dempsey took on many challengers here.

World-class hiking and mountain biking trails are minutes away, and the Ogden and Weber rivers offer some of the best kayaking in Utah. Adrenaline-surging activities such as indoor surfing, sky diving and rock climbing are also available. The Wasatch-Cache National Forest is perfect for picnics, hiking, biking, ATV riding, horseback riding, fishing and boating. Family activities include the bowling alley which is open all year long and the bike path which crosses the city.
