  • Comfy getaway

"So, amazing! I didn't want to leave. I would rent this again and again. Marilyn has definitely done a lot of research to make this place perfect."

  • Fabulous property and house!

"I totally agree with Rachel, that the house had everything our group of 7 needed (plus extras): a well stocked kitchen, hundreds of books and dvds, nice linens, pool table and jacuzzi. It really is as represented. It has the eccentricities of an old house, but it was not drafty. In fact, it was very cozy, despite the fact that it is quite large. Pictures of all of the bedrooms are not in the listing, but be assured that one room is cuter than the next. Also, Jerry was terrific to work with. We accidentally locked ourselves out on the first night, and within minutes he was at the house to help us. Check in and out was simple. We found Ogden to be an odd town, but we enjoyed indoor rock climbing at The Front, and a casual dinner at Slackwater Pub and Pizzeria. The house was centrally located, and we got everywhere we wanted in about 5 minutes. However, the highlight of the trip was hanging out at the house!"

  • Why stay in a hotel when you can stay here for less?

"My family of 4 enjoyed this place. The hosts Phil and Gerry who live on the upper floor, were helpful and friendly. Gerry - an artist - has left her mark in what felt like an art gallery. But they are not 'precious' about their beautifully decorated and clean vacation apartment. Kids enjoyed their friendly dogs - which did not otherwise disturb us, and indeed there was little noise to bother us. We appreciated the King bed for us in the main bedroom. Walk to supermarket one way and mountain trails the other and just over 30 mins drive to the spectacular and much under-estimated Powder Mountain Ski Resort made the location most convenient. A couple of slight negatives - the bathroom does not have an exhaust fan; the second bedroom has a queen bed which makes it problematic for families wanting separate beds for kids - but we were able to cope by using the big lounge cushions and the spare sheets and blankets to provide an acceptable second bed for our second child which we could just squeeze in beside the queen. Overall excellent value for money."

"This was the perfect rental for our needs - in town, great view, garage parking, great kitchen and plenty of room. We truly enjoyed our stay and will book here again. The owner was very accommodating and easy to work with."
