"...but fairness requires me to be forthright. This is the second time I've stayed in Susan's condo, and it's now my preferred base of operations in Park City/Kimball Junction. It's location is convenient to The Canyons and PCMR, but it's even more convenient because of its proximity to all of the shops and restaurants in Newpark. I love this place, and the views across the nature preserve to the ski mountains are unparalleled. You can tell that the owner views this place as a second home that occasionally hosts guests--like others have said, the pantry is generally stocked with any spice or condiment you may need, and there's a sense of "...if you need something, use it, and if you use the last of it, replace it". Kind of a hospitality karma thing, if you know what I mean. During my most recent stay, another group of friends stayed in another unit in this same complex. Not only was this unit bigger, it was significantly "warmer" atmospherically. Susan has done a nice job of decorating--it's not overtly "mountainy" in a clichéd way, nor is it fussy. It's the kind of quiet sophistication that takes a few minutes to wash over you. The longer you're there, the more you notice the thought and consideration that have gone into maintaining it. Long story short: when it came time to hang out, my friends came to our place rather than wanting to stay in their own. Susan is very easy to work with, and the same is true for her on-site property manager, Ron. I will continue to try to rent this specific unit every time I go back. If you're looking to watch a ton of TV (but why?), you'll be disappointed by the size of the unit in the living room. It's the same size unit that is in most of the other condos in this complex, but it was small enough that I was close to going to the nearby Best Buy to purchase a larger unit as a gift. I didn't for obvious reasons: nobody asked me too, and it might be seen as presumptuous. Plus, we were paying to stay there, and I'd never buy a Hyatt a new TV. But the point remains: it's the kind of place that makes you want to add to it in the interest of being able to go back. All in all, outstanding."
