Great Skiing Holiday
"Unfortunately, this year was a terrible year for the snow. We stayed here as it was ski in ski out, but given the conditions there was nothing ski in/ski out. In saying this we made the best of the situation. The accommodation was great given the price. Our children thoroughly enjoyed the pool and because the place was so family friendly they always found other kids to play with in the pool. As we could not ski in ski out, it was great to have the valet service available to bring your skis to the snow. My only general comment is that Park City/Canyons is expensive. We have travelled overseas to several ski resorts between the USA, Canada, New Zealand, and Australia and Park City/Canyons was by far the most expensive mainly in terms of lessons for the children - it was $225 a day for lesson which didn't even include ski rental or a lift ticket. Luckily, our kids were good enough skiers that they could ski with us, but it is just a shame it is not more affordable. Overall, we enjoyed the 5 days of skiing - our preference was Canyons, but next year it won't matter as they will be connected. The accommodation was clean and although a bit cosy for 2 adults and 2 children aged 8 and 10 we were able to manage just fine. I would highly recommend this place."

"My husband and I booked this condo for a little weekend away from the five kiddos! We had a great time. The location is great, especially if you ski or snowboard. And the room is clean and very attractive. It was the perfect place for two to sleep, eat (we ate all meals in but one!) and relax! The first night we realized the microwave did not work but after contacting the owners/managers it was promptly fixed the next morning (even though it was Saturday!). Thank you! The only thing the unit was lacking was maybe a tiny freezer...but that is not a deal breaker. It was funny, after we went to Wal-Mart for some food (there is also a Whole Foods nearby) my husband had to eat his pint of ice cream that night! We should have checked for a freezer beforehand!! Overall a very nice room for a great price in a fabulous location. We had a great time."

"The location of Ed's condo was just what we wanted for a summer weekend. Just outside the Westgate doors, at the base of the ski hill, were shops, activity offices, rental shops and an outdoor concert venue. Ed was responsive and professional during our transaction. It was nice dealing with a private owner rather than a property manager. As a former VRBO property owner myself I was impressed with how easy VRBO now makes searching for and renting properties. Ed's Westgate condo was clean, well built and well appointed. We arrived after 1:30 am and were greeted by the friendly front desk receptionist, who was expecting us, and who stored our mountain bikes in his luggage room. As advertised the condo was very small. We used the sleeper sofa for our teenagers. Once the sleeper sofa bed was out there was little walking room in the condo. The thin mattress in the sleeper sofa was particularly uncomfortable with springs and bars easily felt while sleeping. The main bed was large and firm. I would easily rent this place again....but for only two guests."

"This truly is a Presidential Suite and it far exceeded our expectations. We were 2 couples with 4 teenagers and it was perfect. The secondary bedrooms with kitchenettes were so nice that the couples actually took these and let the teenagers have the 2 Master suites. Every room is very nicely furnished. I'm very particular about mattresses and bedding - after all, that is one of the main reasons you need a room - and I was thoroghly impressed. There were plenty of nice pillows and bedding for all. We slept very well!
The only negative for us is that you do a whole lot of walking to get anywhere in the resort. The layout of the hotel is very confusing and you have to take multiple elevators to get almost anywhere. The ski valet is very nice and they will take your skis out to the gondola for you. However, you still have to walk a lot in your ski boots to get there. The storage lockers for your ski boots is on a different floor than the ski concierge, which doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Overall, it is very nice but I've definitely been spoiled by better ski in/ski out places.
The view from the balcony of the Suite is simply amazing. We sat in the hot tub with a glass of wine every afternoon after skiing - Definitely one of my favorite parts."
