THE Ideal Place to Stay for a Great Ski Vacation in Park City
"My family and I have been going to Park City for the past 3 years and we have always stayed at this location. And we will be definitely be staying there again next year again! To say that the unit is a ski in/ski out is almost an understatement. The walk from the front door to the main ski lift area is no more than 30 yards. There are only two units in all of Park City (the ones next door to this rental) that are closer (and their walk is only about 5 yards less!). After a day on the slopes with the kids, there is nothing more relaxing than having a cold beer in your hand inside your rental unit about 20 seconds after you pop off your skis.
The location was the reason that we first selected this unit and there are two things that keep us coming back: the immaculate condition of the unit (every year there have been upgrades to the furniture and/or furnishings) and the responsiveness of the owner (all questions were answered in a timely fashion).
The ski village has some great restaurants (Baja Cantina and Corner Store were our favorites) but when we wanted a change for dinner, we simply took a short ride on the free Park City buses. The bus stop is a mere 30 yards in the other direction. My boys loved the milkshakes at Java Cow Bakery in particular."

"We just returned from the long MLK weekend. Booking the unit was secure, professional and seamless. The owner was very customer friendly and accommodating. My wife, 2 young sons and I had a blast at PCMR...greatly influenced by this superb condo rental. It was ridiculously easy to walk from the condo, across the plaza for our rentals, then over to the lift. It couldn't be easier...unless someone carried you !! We parked our car in the well lit underground parking, with secure access to an elevator. We used the car for a grocery run, and to bowl in Newpark ('Jupiter Bowl' lanes). A town bus stop is right out the front door however.
Our family of four slept like champs on the amazingly comfortable pull-out couch, and the luxurious murphy-bed. The kitchen layout and the large bathroom are highlights of the unit. A lot of thought and passion has gone into the appointment and decoration of the condo. It reminded us of a European alpine villa. Very quaint and unique. The breakfast nook and gas fire got a lot of use as well.
I know where we'll be staying for our future annual family ski trips to PCMR."

"I brought my son for his first snowboarding experience outside of Michigan. It made for a perfect vacation! The owners were great to work with and their response time on answering questions was amazing. And the gift basket upon arrival was a very nice touch.
Initially, I was nervous about not having a vehicle, but, you're literally just a short walk to everything - no vehicle needed - It's all right there.
The Payday or Crescent chair lifts, the shops and restaurants on the plaza, heated pool and hot tub (which was used every night), and even the free transit service to Park City.
The whole concept of skiing on/off by being right there on the slope was fantastic and actually made it more relaxing. We weren't on any sort of schedule because of needing to drive to the slopes. We snowboarded as long or as little as we felt because we knew we could go right back out there whenever we wanted.
All the other reviews are spot on!
About the only additional information I can add, which has nothing to do with the room or resort, but may help other in their decisions is the taxiing to/from the airport. We used the first taxi the airport called for us; we didn't have any discussion outside of just needing a taxi. Unfortunately, the first taxi that came was a more deluxe luxury SUV. So, it was $150 to the resort. During the vacation I jotted down a phone number of a more traditional taxi service and the way back to the airport was $100. You can get it for even less, around the $85 range, but more waiting and ride sharing/shuttling may be involved.
Overall it was a fantastic experience and the memories of snowboarding with my son are priceless!"
