  • Home away from home

"We first came upon this "hidden gem" in 2010 and have been returning for our yearly ski trip ever since. The owner is very reasonable and a pleasure to deal with; if any issues arise while on site, the manager is extremely responsive. The unit is quiet, clean, updated, well maintained, and with an open layout that unites the kitchen, dining, and living areas. This allows us to stay together, while not getting in the way. We have enjoyed plenty of home-cooked meals with the stocked kitchen (there are pots, pans, dinnerware, silverware, glassware, etc.) and newer appliances that have never failed us. We sit by the fireplace to chat and check email with the free WiFi (there is cable TV and a DVD player). Sometimes we step out and eat ice cream in the balcony, where we feel like we are in a treehouse surrounded by trees. The two spacious rooms have en-suite full bathrooms, with plenty of drawers and hangers to store all our clothes. Showers have good pressure and the water temperature is hot. Extra linens, toiletries, and even hairdryers are thoughtfully provided. Edelweiss Haus is located within walking distance from the Park City Mountain Resort and there is a bus stop in front of the property. There are supermarkets and stores (including Starbucks, Rite Aid, banks) in the area; Main Street, with its shops and restaurants, is a short drive away. We rent a car for the 40-minute drive from the SLC airport and, not being too adept with the ice-scraper, the underground parking is much appreciated. We have truly enjoyed our getaways and being able to stay at the Edelweiss is a big part of it since it has become our home away from home."

  • You want to stay here!

"This condo is exceptional! Very clean, updated, and comfortable. The location is great with a Fresh Market grocery store just across the street as well as it being within walking distance to the base of the Park City Resort area for skiing. The free Park City bus shuttle picks you up just 50 yards from the front door of the condo and it services the ski area, the downtown area and more. We did not rent a vehicle and was able to get everywhere we wanted to be by walking and using the bus service. All of the rooms and furnishings are clean and maintained very well. This condo has a hot tub and it is clean and very well maintained. It was a wonderful treat when you come in at the end of day from skiing. The view from the living room is amazing with a golf course fairway just outside and views of the Park City ski resort mountain right through the window or from the balcony just off of the master bedroom. Also, the owner is very, very, nice, accommodating, professional, and goes out of his way to make sure everything is what was promised. We would most definitely stay here again. Thanks to the owner for making our stay an easy, no hassles vacation."

  • Wonderful Ski Rental - Nicely Furnished

"Charming ski rental. Nicely Furnished. Wonderful owners who want you to have a good time and have put a lot of thought into how they make your stay wonderful. All three bedrooms are HUGE. This alone was a really nice surprise. The furniture is comfortable and nicely done. The living room sofa is deep and comfy - we fought over who got it each night. Another nice touch is the gift basket that greets you on your arrival. Its a warm welcoming extra that let's you know you have picked the right rental. The owners have been very thoughtful in stocking the unit with supplies for the kitchen (dishwasher soap, trash bags, etc), the washer/dryer (laundry detergent/dryer sheets) and bathrooms (shampoo, cream rinse, body wash, TP). This was another nice surprise as my experience with rentals is that you are running out to the store for these basics. The living room has a wonderful fireplace and makes great fires. Plus the entry way has a seemingly endless supply of wood so you can have a fire every night of your stay. We did use the hot tub & outdoor pool at the Three Kings - it was fun, even though it is a short walk/drive. Great after skiiing. The location is great. Very close to the slopes, town and shops. We are already planning on staying there next year."

  • Great House with Great Location

"We rented this house for our guys ski trip (5 men, 40-50), and we had a great time! The house is an easy walk to town (all downhill). Because we are lazy, we cabbed back every night in one of Park City's plentiful cabs. The house was as described in the listing. The hot tub is great, and the owners have clearly put a lot of thought into making sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. The common areas are great as well. Overall, if 5 guys can be happy with a place for 4 nights, I think that statement speaks for itself."
