  • Park City first visit

"This place is a gem! Whether you plan on staying for a few day or a few weeks (which we did), everything you need is here. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking your own meals. There is even an outdoor grill. The dining room table comfortably seats six or the leaf comes out and makes a great card table for four. The beds are very comfortable with two bedrooms and two full bathrooms upstairs. There are plenty of towels and blankets. The living room downstairs has comfortable furniture to relax at the end of the day. I loved the cozy throw blankets (just an example of extra touches). John and Honor responded quickly to any questions we had. We knew exactly what to expect before we arrived. Since we arrived at midnight (after hours), this was a big plus. Park Avenue Condominiums is in a prime location with old town Main Street not far away. The bus line is steps away from this unit, and it’s free to ride. The one car garage comes in handy when it rains. We liked to watch the clouds build during the day and the thunderstorms in the evening (okay, we live in the desert). By visiting in the late summer/early fall, we got to see the leaves change colors. It is truly spectacular. We found plenty to do with golfing, hiking, and sightseeing. The city is an outdoors persons dream with many walking and biking paths throughout the area. If our path crosses Park City again, we definitely want to stay here again!"

  • Fantastic Family-Sized House Close to PCMR

"We spent 10 days at this house on a family ski holiday and enjoyed our stay so much that we are already considering rebooking for next year. The house is extremely comfortable, well-equipped and cosy and an easy walk to the bottom of the Payday lift (our young kids did it every day in their ski gear without complaining). The photos of the house are accurate. There were only five of us but we also had enough room to host a party with 10 adults and 12 kids without feeling too cramped. Everything worked and there were plenty of the things we needed already in stock. One of the comments made by a prior guest was the absence of salt/pepper and so on - this has clearly now been rectified. Dealing with Elizabeth was an absolute joy - she is extremely responsive, professional and helpful and went above and beyond to assist us: we travelled from overseas and needed a crib for our toddler and to take delivery of items sent ahead of our arrival etc. The only two minor complaints (if you can call them that!) were: (a) the kitchen has so much equipment in the cupboards that there is actually very little space to store food outside the fridge freezer (so the counter tops can get a bit untidy if you plan to cook at home); and (b) there is not much space between the lower bunk and the upper bunk and it is easy to bump your head (if you have the choice, pull out the trundle bed instead)."

  • So close to perfection

"I found this lodging while panicking after I had found out that a previous booking with another lodgind had been misteriously and wrongly cancelled. I was 2 weeks away from departure date. I couldn't believe my luck when I saw location and photos of this property on the website. I was even more surprised when I got there to find out that the place was even better than expected. All very nice, clean and comfortable. Great views, quiet enough to relax and have some rest after a busy day. You wouldn't believe how central it was. Nearest skilifts at walking distance. Buses connecting to all major spots in town, stopping right outside the door. I was here for Sundance Film Festival and I could afford the luxury to go back to drop things or even to have a break between movies. The owner has been very friendly, helpful and responsive. But all I've had to worry about was to have a good time. Great value for money. Definitely recommend it!"

  • Great house in a great location!

"We had extended family and an unrelated couple staying with us. The set up was perfect - the unrelated couple had their own bedroom and bath away from the family. The house was clean and tastefully decorated - beds were super comfy - kitchen was well-stocked. We didn't use the hot tub, but enjoyed the pool table when friends came over. The convenient location enabled us to walk to most of the shops and restaurants - although we were there for a wedding and didn't spend as much time in the downtown as we would have liked. Next time.... The sellers were very responsive and sent someone over within hours to replace a battery in the smoke detector. Hope to go back in the winter to do some skiing - and stay at 1008 Empire again!"
