  • Perfect On/Off Sk Location At A Great Price!!

"I brought my son for his first snowboarding experience outside of Michigan. It made for a perfect vacation! The owners were great to work with and their response time on answering questions was amazing. And the gift basket upon arrival was a very nice touch. Initially, I was nervous about not having a vehicle, but, you're literally just a short walk to everything - no vehicle needed - It's all right there. The Payday or Crescent chair lifts, the shops and restaurants on the plaza, heated pool and hot tub (which was used every night), and even the free transit service to Park City. The whole concept of skiing on/off by being right there on the slope was fantastic and actually made it more relaxing. We weren't on any sort of schedule because of needing to drive to the slopes. We snowboarded as long or as little as we felt because we knew we could go right back out there whenever we wanted. All the other reviews are spot on! About the only additional information I can add, which has nothing to do with the room or resort, but may help other in their decisions is the taxiing to/from the airport. We used the first taxi the airport called for us; we didn't have any discussion outside of just needing a taxi. Unfortunately, the first taxi that came was a more deluxe luxury SUV. So, it was $150 to the resort. During the vacation I jotted down a phone number of a more traditional taxi service and the way back to the airport was $100. You can get it for even less, around the $85 range, but more waiting and ride sharing/shuttling may be involved. Overall it was a fantastic experience and the memories of snowboarding with my son are priceless!"

  • Great Value & Location

"Our family enjoyed the MLK weekend at Park City. Chris was great and responded to all of our questions almost immediately. As mentioned by others, the location is close to the main resort - we walked to the lifts every day. The condo includes all the basics that you'd find in a hotel - towels, linens, TP, kleenex, soap, laundry detergent, etc. The 2 queen beds in the loft were perfect for our son (16) and daughter (13). The bus stop is literally 200 feet away, so there's no need for a car. We took the bus everywhere, even the grocery store to stock up on food and drinks. We took advantage of the discounts Chris offered with Shuttle Park City and Aloha Ski. Aloha Ski stores your skis/boards overnight free of charge and has free storage for your shoes during the day. We would definitely stay here again without any reservation."

  • 2nd time around and looking forward to more!!

"When you return to a rental property for the second year in a row and are looking forward to making it a third, well, that just speaks for itself. Our group of six (4 adults, 2 kids) just finished what might be an annual event for as long as we're able to ski and might grow to more than once a year. Park City just has so much to offer and this property is ideal with it's perfect location, quality accommodation and reasonable price. Pat, the rental agent and the owners are quick to respond to any issue that may arise (we had a hot water tank go bad and it was replaced within hours), as well as great advice on local attractions. I aggressively shopped around online and we saved money on lift tickets and a rental car through Pat and her corporate discounts. The Box Elder with a two car driveway, has four bedrooms, two with a master bath (one needs a bathroom door). The furniture, appliances and kitchen are up to date, comfortable and includes all the little stuff, like shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, lotion, dish & laundry soap, coffee, sugar, and all the spices you'll need for cooking. You can walk to the Park City Resort to ski, up some stairs, drive and park (or ride the free shuttle to Canyons and Deer Valley as well). The view out of the front windows is directly onto the slopes at Park City. (In 2016, you'll be able to take a Gondola from Park City to Canyons) The idea of walking across the street to the largest ski resort in the USA has me wanting to book a stay for next year already.) We drove to Snow Bird. And after a day of carving up the slopes, there's nothing better than the courtyard with two hot tubs. I'm a foodie and beer snob, so a trip must include a variety of experiences. We ate at the River Horse Saloon (recommend the Venison, Elk and Bison entree) last year and at Silver (recommend the Wagyu Beef Steak or Pasta Mushroom entrees.) this year. Both are superb high end eating experiences. Last year we also tried the Wasatch Brew Pub (Elk medallions) and this year the No Name Saloon (a preference for locals (Bison Burger)), as well as the Pizza Noodle (good pizza, watch the bill, they add 12% gratuity). We also ate at the Flying Sumo (Great sushi and service - my personal favorite dining experience). On the way in we were famished and ate at the Loco Lizard by the liquor store in the Smith's grocery shopping center. I do NOT recommend it. Nearby is Five Guy's Burgers, always good for kids and "Zupa" a better soup and salad choice."
