  • True Value / Real Deal

"Just returned from a 10 day stay at this location with ski buddy. I concur with the other reviews...good unit for the price, great location for everywhere you want to go, easy parking, good hottub, comfortable beds. This is not a luxury hotel. Instead it is a GOOD VALUE location for those who want to enjoy the Park City area. Linda is very professional. For my fellow skier's...Park City, Snowbasin, and Powder Mountain will rock your world. Have fun at "SPURS", "High West", and "No Name" on Main Street."

  • Home away from home

"We first came upon this "hidden gem" in 2010 and have been returning for our yearly ski trip ever since. The owner is very reasonable and a pleasure to deal with; if any issues arise while on site, the manager is extremely responsive. The unit is quiet, clean, updated, well maintained, and with an open layout that unites the kitchen, dining, and living areas. This allows us to stay together, while not getting in the way. We have enjoyed plenty of home-cooked meals with the stocked kitchen (there are pots, pans, dinnerware, silverware, glassware, etc.) and newer appliances that have never failed us. We sit by the fireplace to chat and check email with the free WiFi (there is cable TV and a DVD player). Sometimes we step out and eat ice cream in the balcony, where we feel like we are in a treehouse surrounded by trees. The two spacious rooms have en-suite full bathrooms, with plenty of drawers and hangers to store all our clothes. Showers have good pressure and the water temperature is hot. Extra linens, toiletries, and even hairdryers are thoughtfully provided. Edelweiss Haus is located within walking distance from the Park City Mountain Resort and there is a bus stop in front of the property. There are supermarkets and stores (including Starbucks, Rite Aid, banks) in the area; Main Street, with its shops and restaurants, is a short drive away. We rent a car for the 40-minute drive from the SLC airport and, not being too adept with the ice-scraper, the underground parking is much appreciated. We have truly enjoyed our getaways and being able to stay at the Edelweiss is a big part of it since it has become our home away from home."

"We enjoyed this condo stay very much. Location was perfect for our needs. Walking distance to almost everything. The property was very clean and well maintained. The owner was very easy to work with and gave us all the information needed prior to our arrival. We were there for a wedding, but had a chance to enjoy a few of the Park City attractions. The Olympic Park was amazing - highly recommended. I would say the only thing we were a little disappointed about were the beds. Not the most comfortable, but we managed. We would highly recommend this property to anyone, and hope we have the opportunity to stay there again. Thank you for an enjoyable stay!!"

  • Fantastic Family-Sized House Close to PCMR

"We spent 10 days at this house on a family ski holiday and enjoyed our stay so much that we are already considering rebooking for next year. The house is extremely comfortable, well-equipped and cosy and an easy walk to the bottom of the Payday lift (our young kids did it every day in their ski gear without complaining). The photos of the house are accurate. There were only five of us but we also had enough room to host a party with 10 adults and 12 kids without feeling too cramped. Everything worked and there were plenty of the things we needed already in stock. One of the comments made by a prior guest was the absence of salt/pepper and so on - this has clearly now been rectified. Dealing with Elizabeth was an absolute joy - she is extremely responsive, professional and helpful and went above and beyond to assist us: we travelled from overseas and needed a crib for our toddler and to take delivery of items sent ahead of our arrival etc. The only two minor complaints (if you can call them that!) were: (a) the kitchen has so much equipment in the cupboards that there is actually very little space to store food outside the fridge freezer (so the counter tops can get a bit untidy if you plan to cook at home); and (b) there is not much space between the lower bunk and the upper bunk and it is easy to bump your head (if you have the choice, pull out the trundle bed instead)."
