  • Perfect place

"Perfect condo, perfect location, and easy rental and check out process. This made our visit to Park City a truly memorable one."

  • Great spot for in-town fun

"The location of this property really is ideal. It's walking distance to all Main St. has to offer, but on a quiet dead street. Not having to drive is always a plus in Park City, because parking is limited and expensive, and there is always tons of traffic in the tourist seasons. Considering how many people it sleeps, and the location, this place was such a good deal. We had a great time on our girl's weekend, but it would also be perfect for any group that doesn't want to deal with driving in downtown Park City."

  • Great location and all the amenities!

"This is a true ski-in-ski-out property only 2 blocks from the center of Main Street. The owner is very responsive, answering all of our questions promptly and thoroughly. Reasonable taxi services from Salt Lake City and the free buses around town and to the various ski resorts make renting a car unnecessary. You can take the free bus service to Fresh Market and another grocery store across the street from it. We used the garage to store our ski equipment though. The hot tub is great and maintained for you. Even the driveway and front steps are shovelled for you! It's a steep climb from the back deck up to the Quittin' Time run but worth it. Since we were there near the beginning of the season (Dec. 18-23) the Quittin' Time run was not yet open so we took the small children sledding on it. The ski/snowboarders only had to walk about 2-3 blocks to catch the Town Lift or a free bus to the central lift at the resort. There's ski/snowboard rental at Town Lift. Our 3 & 4-year-olds liked the ski school and the 7-year-old was skiing blues on her third day of ski school. Ski school is at the main resort center so we took the free bus (2 blocks down the hill from the house). With small children, we couldn't use the loft because of the open (pull-down) stairs. And there's no bath on that level but others may find it useful."

  • Perfect Place for a Family Reunion

"Twenty-six of us descended on The Grand Love Shack mid-August for our 5-night family reunion. Our ages ranged from 19 to 87, and we hailed from the Pacific Northwest, the West and East coasts, and the Southwest. We've had a number of previous reunions elsewhere in the country; without question the Grand Love Shack in Park City is our favorite. The owner and property manager were wonderful to work with, very accommodating, helpful and knowledgeable about the area and its history. The home was impeccably clean, and beautifully maintained. Although the kitchen is somewhat smaller than it appears in photographs, it was extremely well-equipped and highly functional. We fed everyone every night with no problems. And the two side-by-side dishwashers made clean-up a breeze. En suite bedrooms, named for Park City historical figures, were comfortable and pretty. Although each room had window air conditioners, we didn't turn them on. Nights were cool with lovely breezes. We spent a lot of time on the side porch, enjoying wine and appetizers in the evening, or coffee in the morning. My favorite spot was the front porch in the late afternoon...reading a book after a day of hiking, looking at the lovely mountains surrounding the property. Getting down to Main Street for lunch or the town's many summertime events took only 5-10 minutes via a staircase directly across the street from the property. We mountain biked, hiked, rode the lifts for scenic views, went to the Egyptian Theater for a Neil Simon festival, and attended a riveting aerial ski and snowboard demonstration at Olympic Park. We hope to be back for our next reunion, and without hesitation recommend this very special rental. Thank you Jeff."
