Recent South, Old Town reviews

  • Already booked for next year, it was great

"We stayed in this Town Lift Condominium for 3 weeks in August and it could not have been better. Everything was as nice or even nicer than described in the owner’s listing. The condo was immaculate and completely organized with everything from kitchenware to games. The location was truly in the middle of everything in town. We could walk to the town lift, all the restaurants, the galleries, and Park City Museum (a historic gem, don’t miss it). We’ve been to Park City a number of times and this proved to be the very best location and accommodation. The best compliment is to say” we’ll be back” – and we have already booked this condo for a month next summer."

  • Perfect Place for a Family Reunion

"Twenty-six of us descended on The Grand Love Shack mid-August for our 5-night family reunion. Our ages ranged from 19 to 87, and we hailed from the Pacific Northwest, the West and East coasts, and the Southwest. We've had a number of previous reunions elsewhere in the country; without question the Grand Love Shack in Park City is our favorite. The owner and property manager were wonderful to work with, very accommodating, helpful and knowledgeable about the area and its history. The home was impeccably clean, and beautifully maintained. Although the kitchen is somewhat smaller than it appears in photographs, it was extremely well-equipped and highly functional. We fed everyone every night with no problems. And the two side-by-side dishwashers made clean-up a breeze. En suite bedrooms, named for Park City historical figures, were comfortable and pretty. Although each room had window air conditioners, we didn't turn them on. Nights were cool with lovely breezes. We spent a lot of time on the side porch, enjoying wine and appetizers in the evening, or coffee in the morning. My favorite spot was the front porch in the late afternoon...reading a book after a day of hiking, looking at the lovely mountains surrounding the property. Getting down to Main Street for lunch or the town's many summertime events took only 5-10 minutes via a staircase directly across the street from the property. We mountain biked, hiked, rode the lifts for scenic views, went to the Egyptian Theater for a Neil Simon festival, and attended a riveting aerial ski and snowboard demonstration at Olympic Park. We hope to be back for our next reunion, and without hesitation recommend this very special rental. Thank you Jeff."

  • Great location!!

"Our family of 4 was very comfortable in this warm & comfortable condo just a short walk to great restaurants, galleries and all PC has to offer. It was our first visit to PC and we were so glad to have such a great location as our base. The condo is nicely furnished and well managed, so any little glitch would readily be addressed. Covered off street parking was a plus. The condos aren't new but they are well-kept. Kitchen well-appointed too. We never used the hot tub so can't speak to that, but one is available. The owners were very responsive to any questions we had prior to booking, as well."

  • Wonderful Stay!

"We stayed at this fantastic home for a ski trip in late February of 2014. Everything was even better than described and pictured on the website. The home is very large and comfortably accommodated the four adult couples we had on our trip. The kitchen is very well stocked for your cooking needs. There are two dishwashers, two washing machines, two fridge/freezers. There are great views from the porch and hot tub. There is a heated garage for ski gear. The walk to the ski slopes is probably 5 minutes down a short street which takes you to the town lift. The house is on a hill above main street and you get a good workout/stretch taking the stairs home. 4x4 car or shuttle (we used M&L and they were great) is required in the winter for good reason, the road is steep and narrow to get to the home. The owner was very responsive to email and was very accommodating. Would stay here again without hesitation. Thanks!"
