  • One of the best rental condos in Moose Hollow

"The owners of this condo made it exceptionally easy to rent from them. They communicated with us by both email and phone, so we didn't have to wait for our questions to be answered. The description of the unit was accurate and we didn't need a thing during our stay. The unit was exceptionally clean, spacious, and stocked with everything we needed (both the kitchen and the rest of the unit as well). The Wi-Fi in the unit worked as advertised, which was nice. From the moment we walked in the door until the morning we left, we relaxed and didn't worry about a thing. And did I mention how clean the unit is? I would highly recommend renting from these folks."

  • Christmas/New Year Trip

"My family stayed in this condo for 2 weeks. We had a great time and it is a pity we couldn't stay longer. Condo was clean, well equipped and exactly as described by the owner. It is located in the area which is desirable for both winter and summer vacation. If you are a skier, you are then close to Powder Mountain and Snow Basin resorts, or to Nordic Valley which is a smaller one but good for beginners. I share comments with the other people who stayed there. The whole experience was very positive and we would love to come back."

  • Love the Ogden Valley

"This was our 2nd trip to the Ogden Valley. Our group of 4 adults + 1 child had great stay @ Valin's condo in Moose Hollow. Although a VERY dry year for snow, it seemed all over Utah was down this year, we couldn't have been happier w/ our accommodations. The unit is as advertised, clean, spacious, w/ all the comforts of home. The community hot tub was great, a short walk from the front door. A quick trip to the Valley Market will get your fridge stocked & only 10mins to Powder Mt & about 25mins to Snowbasin. We 1st came to the area in '13 & were amazed @ the quality of both Powmow & Snowbasin. Powder Mt is like nothing I've experienced before. I hear people complain that it's not steep, but a little work via snow cat and/or hike will get you to plenty of incredible terrain. When you hear locals say “Don’t go there”, it’s because they want to keep the place to themselves, but once your there, they couldn’t be friendlier. Snowbasin is a gem of a mountain, never crowded w/ a 1st class lift system, great lodges (thanks to 2002 Olympics) & big, steep terrain. Our 5yr old daughter did 5 days of ski school while there. She loved both!!! When it snow, you can’t go wrong w/ either. W/ both topping out over 9,000’, even a few inches of fresh will last for days. Valin is a great host, very easy to work with. She has manager near by that can make any and all arraingments you may need. We’ll be back, for sure!!!"

  • Excellent Place to Relax in the Fall

"My wife and I brought our kids up to this cabin for fall break and had an excellent time. Cleanliness - VERY clean upon arrival. I think that they had the cleaning service go through RIGHT before we came. No complaints AT ALL about cleanliness. We did have to sweep some leaves off the deck, but it is fall, so that is to be expected. Furnishings - Very well equipped. We were not lacking anything while here. We had 9 people in total and had plenty of room. Additionally there was a surplus of dishes, and towels/washcloths/hand towels. We never needed to do laundry (there is a washer and dryer if needed). The bed in the master seemed a little hard, but for some people that could be a plus. The appliances in the kitchen were very nice (fridge, gas stove, dishwasher, microwave, toaster over, toaster, etc... I don't drink coffee, but there was a coffee maker, and something else that looked like it does some kind of fancy coffee! :) Comfortable chairs, large dining room table, plenty of deck seating, flat screen TV with extra HDMI inputs. No fireplaces that are usable inside, but a nice gas fire pit on the deck. The spa was fun. It is right off of the dining room, kitchen, BBQ grill area so people can relax while others are eating, and still be part of the conversation. Yard - Secluded. There are other homes nearby, but the scrub oak keep this yard feeling private. There is a great little play-set for kids, with a sand box underneath. There is a trampoline and a two person hammock in the same area. This was VERY nice for our family. Our kids could go out and play in full view from the kitchen / dining / family room area. There is a lot of asphalt parking space (probably could park 9 without blocking anyone in). There is not a fire pit :( But we brought one and placed it on the extra parking and enjoyed a fire. CONS - Disclaimer. We loved this place, and will come back. There are a few things that could be of interest to some people. Neighbors Dogs - Two of the neighbors have big dogs who are not used to people being here. One is allowed to run free and came into the yard. I told it to GO HOME and it did not come back. The others would bark fairly frequently. Box Elder Bugs were EVERYWHERE. Needs to be sprayed a bit more. In fairness the owner said that their pest control company had needed to reschedule before we came, so this is probably not a normal issue."
