  • Excellent Place to Relax in the Fall

"My wife and I brought our kids up to this cabin for fall break and had an excellent time. Cleanliness - VERY clean upon arrival. I think that they had the cleaning service go through RIGHT before we came. No complaints AT ALL about cleanliness. We did have to sweep some leaves off the deck, but it is fall, so that is to be expected. Furnishings - Very well equipped. We were not lacking anything while here. We had 9 people in total and had plenty of room. Additionally there was a surplus of dishes, and towels/washcloths/hand towels. We never needed to do laundry (there is a washer and dryer if needed). The bed in the master seemed a little hard, but for some people that could be a plus. The appliances in the kitchen were very nice (fridge, gas stove, dishwasher, microwave, toaster over, toaster, etc... I don't drink coffee, but there was a coffee maker, and something else that looked like it does some kind of fancy coffee! :) Comfortable chairs, large dining room table, plenty of deck seating, flat screen TV with extra HDMI inputs. No fireplaces that are usable inside, but a nice gas fire pit on the deck. The spa was fun. It is right off of the dining room, kitchen, BBQ grill area so people can relax while others are eating, and still be part of the conversation. Yard - Secluded. There are other homes nearby, but the scrub oak keep this yard feeling private. There is a great little play-set for kids, with a sand box underneath. There is a trampoline and a two person hammock in the same area. This was VERY nice for our family. Our kids could go out and play in full view from the kitchen / dining / family room area. There is a lot of asphalt parking space (probably could park 9 without blocking anyone in). There is not a fire pit :( But we brought one and placed it on the extra parking and enjoyed a fire. CONS - Disclaimer. We loved this place, and will come back. There are a few things that could be of interest to some people. Neighbors Dogs - Two of the neighbors have big dogs who are not used to people being here. One is allowed to run free and came into the yard. I told it to GO HOME and it did not come back. The others would bark fairly frequently. Box Elder Bugs were EVERYWHERE. Needs to be sprayed a bit more. In fairness the owner said that their pest control company had needed to reschedule before we came, so this is probably not a normal issue."

  • Beatiful location and lovely house

"The drive to Powder Mountain is an easy drive up the access road and Snow Basin is south of here and a very easy drive of about 20 minutes. The interior of the house is very upscale and and yet warm. The views from the living area are out to mountains toward Ogden. There is a medium sized supermarket in Eden (minutes away) that carries most of what you would need for your stay. The one odd thing when we rented, was there weren't a lot of reviews. I discovered the home is up for sale and I think they probably used the home for themselves and then when they decided to sell, thought they would rent in the interim. The other reason for saying this is they have about 6 or more pairs of skiis in the garage. Plus all the things (dishs, silerware, utensils, etc. gave you the feeling of a lived and cared for home, as though you were staying at a friends home, not a rental house. As to very young childen the house was so nice you were afraid they would damage something. As I said before if seemed like someone's home. It's all on one floor so it's easy to get around. Don't know if they allow wheelchairs. I can't imagine anyone not loving this house (I keep saying house when ti should be home). And it is a single home, not a condo where you're always walking up 3 flights of stairs. It's on a cul de sac and very quiet."

  • Great!

"The unit was great. Just as stated in listing. Good location. Clean and quite. Has everything you need and then some. Donna was very helpful in arranging a bag drop for me and follow up. Highly recommended."

  • Great Condo & Great Service

"I stayed here as base for skiing Powder Mountain and Snowbasin for which it is ideally located. The condo itself is well appointed with a great kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms. There is really nothing lacking. There are many other Moose Hollow condos to choose from (I have stayed at others) but I would certainly book here again given both the excellent fit out and also the great service that I experienced from the owner. On the day I was due to check out I found myself stranded on an excursion elsewhere in Utah due to food poisoning. Fred showed a great deal of understanding and organised for my belongings to be packed up in my absence and collected when I returned several days later. It made such a difference to a bad situation. I would certainly book this condo again."
