  • We will be back! This place was perfect for a Park City getaway!!

"We truly loved our stay in this little condo. It was perfect for our stay in Park City over New Years. The best thing about it was the location. This condo complex is close to everything....just a few minutes from Main Street and all 3 ski resorts! We had considered staying at a "Kimball Junction" area condo. Don't do it!! It's too far!! This condo was so perfectly situated though. We had free offstreet parking, but didn't need it. We used the bus to get around everywhere, and since this condo is so close, it was a short ride everywhere. We've stayed at several condos in The Prospector in the past, but this one was definitely the best. It was CLEAN CLEAN. The full kitchen was FANTASTIC. You can't get a kitchen like this at the Marriott! We were able to save $ by making our own breakfast every morning. The updates were great...flat panel TV, granite countertops, stone backsplash, leather sofa. It had a nice feel to it, like home. We had free parking, free wifi. The bed was really, really comfy, with lots of pillows. We used the queen pullout bed, and it was surprisingly comfortable. You can tell it was a top-of-the line pullout bed...no "bar" in the middle. The owners were lovely to deal with. Quick communication. And the $$BEST RATES. They include cleaning fees and tax IN THE RENTAL RATE, so with no extra fees, we felt like we really got our money's worth. They didn't nickle and dime us like other owners! And they left complimentary coffee for our first morning's stay, which was great. We took the easy shuttle bus to the grocery store the morning after check in to stock up. We saved tons of money by cooking in the full kitchen, but liked that we were close to several restaurants so we could eat out if we wanted to. Would we stay here again? Definitely!! This was a rare, special find for us in Park City. We'll come back again and again, and consider it our new "home away from home"."

  • Super Spot in Canyons!

"Some times it all works - the owners, the place, and the snow! As mentioned throughout most of these reviews, the owners Ken and Deb were a pleasure all the way through our trip. Seamless execution before arrival with Ken arranging for a humidifier request (sleep remedy countering altitude and dry air), with the tight communication via texting for check-in, and throughout the trip to ensure all was going well. My wife and I were away for a long weekend and Ken's place was perfect spot - cozy and well furnished, and especially liked the uplighting on the ceiling molding. Steps away from gondola and restaurants. Snow gods were good to us with almost 2 feet Thurs through Sat, and it kept snowing right on through weekend. Heard Canyons/Park City were 28-38 inches as storm moved out. Kenny helped us out with a late check-out on Saturday, as did not have an arrival coming in, which allowed us to change and shower before sadly heading for our evening flight out to NYC. Having been in Canyons before in a VERY busy Westgate, Ken's place in the smaller Sundial is a calmer and welcome contrast to the other large-number unit places. Nothing but good things here so high marks for a potential return visit."

  • Awesome Rental and Excellent Person to deal with

"We had a blast and this is an excellent location. We have been going to Park City for spring break skiing for the past 3 years and the house we have been renting is being sold and is no longer available for rent. We were disappointed in that but delighted that we found this property. This condo is very clean and nice and comfortable. It accommodated the 6 of us (3 Parents and 3 17-18 yr old sons) very comfortably. The owner was beyond accommodating and easy to deal with. Charged my credit card so payment was easy and quickly refunded my deposit as he said he would. The location near RedStone Shopping and entertainment and grocery made it all the more inviting. I will definitely try to rent from him again in the future."

  • Luxurious condo

"Family of 4 plus 2 friends had a wonderful experience staying at Silver Star over Presidents weekend. The condo is super spacious with lots of room to lounge in front of the fireplace and watch TV after a great ski day. Location is great with ski/boot locker steps off the end of the trail. Sikver Star lift could not be more convenient on a busy week, we loved using it. Judy was a pleasure to deal with and made the process so easy. Hot tub was fantastic and pool fun for the kids. The condo was clean and luxurious and we loved everything about it. The Silver Star restaurant really surprised us, the food was amazing and live music a treat. We have stayed three times in Park City and liked this location the best. Would definitely stay here again!!"

Provo Travel Tips

Try Fly Fishing or Skiing in Utah with Provo Vacation Rentals

Provo is situated on the Provo River which is famous for its fly fishing; however, that's not all there is to enjoy in this beautiful area of Utah. Surrounded by spectacular mountain scenery yet within easy reach of shopping, top-class restaurants and attractions, Provo has something to suit everyone, catering to a wide range of interests. Nestled in a protected area between Lake Utah and the Wasatch Mountains, fur traders were the first pioneers to work and explore the area, followed in the mid-19th century by the Mormon settlers who still have an influence on life in Provo.

Getting to Provo Vacation Houses is Quick and Easy

Many visitors to this area of Utah choose to fly into Salt Lake City Airport and then drive the 42 miles to the center of Provo. The scenic drive is a great introduction to this beautiful area. Provo is easily reached, right on the I-15.

Provo Cabins Provide Space and Comfort

Choosing a Provo cabin or vacation rental ensures you have a great base for making the most of this beautiful area. With plenty of space to store sports equipment and a useful washer-dryer, a vacation home is far more accommodating than a hotel room. For those vacationing with family and friends, it can also be a very reasonably priced option per person. Fully-fitted kitchens and dining areas make feeding a large group very easy. Choose one with ample bedrooms and bathrooms so everyone can spread out and enjoy their own private space from time to time. Provo cabins are located close to the local amenities and most have great views of the mountain scenery.

Things to Do from Utah Vacation Rentals in Provo

As well as fly fishing, Provo is the ideal base for enjoying scenic mountain drives, hiking, river rafting and other exciting activities. Popular things to do include hiking to the Timpanogos Cave, driving around Nebo Loop, or spending the day in Utah's largest water park, Seven Peaks.

In the winter, the area is one of the best for great ski runs, cross country skiing and snowboarding. Sleigh rides, snow kiting, tubing, snowmobiling and ice skating can all be enjoyed here at Provo.

Exploring the Area Around Provo Vacation Rentals

The Bridal Veil Falls on the nearby Hwy 189 are a popular attraction from spring through fall. It is one of the area's most breathtaking natural beauty spots and about five miles up the Provo Canyon. The falls plunge 600 feet into the Provo River. The area is a popular place for hiking in the summer and ice climbing on frozen sections of the falls in winter.

Springville offers more cultural attractions with its Museum of Art and other interesting attractions. This quaint town has some notable Spanish Colonial Revival-style architecture. Being so close to the Mormon city of Salt Lake City, a guided tour of the campus of Brigham Young University can be a unique way to learn more about the area. Temple Square is another popular attraction in Salt Lake City.

Sundance Resort, Deer Creek Reservoir, Park City and the Heber Creeper Railroad are all worth exploring in the area around your Provo vacation rental. The Timpanogos Cave National Monument has clear underground pools and beautiful cave formations such as draperies, popcorn, stalactites and stalagmites.

Utah Vacation Rentals Enjoy All Four Seasons

Provo, like much of this area, has very hot summers with average temperatures well above 90 F. Winters are cold with overnight lows below freezing. In between, the spring and fall seasons offer pleasant temperatures, low humidity, little rainfall and plenty of beautiful scenery.
