  • A sweet and charming home

"The Homeplace fit us perfectly! There was plenty of room for 7. The kids and the grandkids loved the pond and enjoyed daily canoe rides! Although the fish in the pond were too tiny to catch, the kids just had a blast fishing. The vegetable garden in the back wasnt quite what I expected since there was nothing there to harvest. The fruit on the apple trees weren't ready to pick either but it was still nice to know it's available if you book during harvest seasin. The property was great! We watched the neighbors herd in their cows which is a rare sight for us to see since we're from Vegas! We will definitely consider staying here again."

  • Great Place, Great Location

"We stayed in this condo for a baseball tournament. We had our kids and my parents and the place was very accommodating. It was very clean and had a great family, relaxing feel - especially after long days out playing in St. George. The location is also excellent, as it keeps you out of the "hustle and bustle" of the bigger city, yet you are only 5 minutes away. Great pool and workout amenities on site, not to mention tennis both day and night. We loved this property and look forward to more stays."

  • Home away from Home

"We stayed in this lovely home while we waited to move into our own home in Park City. Working with the owners was so easy, given our uncertain terms and length of stay. We were also having to accommodate our infant and wanted the comforts of home, which this town home and community all have. We are happy to say we are now neighbors to this unit, which is impeccably maintained. We have recommended the unit to others and are happy to say that we have enjoyed living on the same street."

  • Perfect place to stay for zion/bryce

"We have stayed in quite a few VRBOs over the years, and this one was by far the nicest. The whole house is immaculately clean, the beds were comfortable, plenty of towels, pillows, blankets etc. I believe all the bedrooms had tvs and dish service, but we didn't turn them on because the kids played capture the flag outside, ping-pong in the garage, and lounged in the hot tub. The house has multiple heating/ac units, so everyone was comfortable with the temperature, and all the bedrooms had ceiling fans as well. I just can't say enough about this lovely home. The kitchen is large with plenty of space for cooking even with multiple people in it. It took about 10 min to get to Zion's east entrance and just about an hour to get to Bryce. Perfect for a large group. The home owner is close and can help with any issues, she even called to check how everything was going. Just a wonderful experience all around."

Provo Travel Tips

Try Fly Fishing or Skiing in Utah with Provo Vacation Rentals

Provo is situated on the Provo River which is famous for its fly fishing; however, that's not all there is to enjoy in this beautiful area of Utah. Surrounded by spectacular mountain scenery yet within easy reach of shopping, top-class restaurants and attractions, Provo has something to suit everyone, catering to a wide range of interests. Nestled in a protected area between Lake Utah and the Wasatch Mountains, fur traders were the first pioneers to work and explore the area, followed in the mid-19th century by the Mormon settlers who still have an influence on life in Provo.

Getting to Provo Vacation Houses is Quick and Easy

Many visitors to this area of Utah choose to fly into Salt Lake City Airport and then drive the 42 miles to the center of Provo. The scenic drive is a great introduction to this beautiful area. Provo is easily reached, right on the I-15.

Provo Cabins Provide Space and Comfort

Choosing a Provo cabin or vacation rental ensures you have a great base for making the most of this beautiful area. With plenty of space to store sports equipment and a useful washer-dryer, a vacation home is far more accommodating than a hotel room. For those vacationing with family and friends, it can also be a very reasonably priced option per person. Fully-fitted kitchens and dining areas make feeding a large group very easy. Choose one with ample bedrooms and bathrooms so everyone can spread out and enjoy their own private space from time to time. Provo cabins are located close to the local amenities and most have great views of the mountain scenery.

Things to Do from Utah Vacation Rentals in Provo

As well as fly fishing, Provo is the ideal base for enjoying scenic mountain drives, hiking, river rafting and other exciting activities. Popular things to do include hiking to the Timpanogos Cave, driving around Nebo Loop, or spending the day in Utah's largest water park, Seven Peaks.

In the winter, the area is one of the best for great ski runs, cross country skiing and snowboarding. Sleigh rides, snow kiting, tubing, snowmobiling and ice skating can all be enjoyed here at Provo.

Exploring the Area Around Provo Vacation Rentals

The Bridal Veil Falls on the nearby Hwy 189 are a popular attraction from spring through fall. It is one of the area's most breathtaking natural beauty spots and about five miles up the Provo Canyon. The falls plunge 600 feet into the Provo River. The area is a popular place for hiking in the summer and ice climbing on frozen sections of the falls in winter.

Springville offers more cultural attractions with its Museum of Art and other interesting attractions. This quaint town has some notable Spanish Colonial Revival-style architecture. Being so close to the Mormon city of Salt Lake City, a guided tour of the campus of Brigham Young University can be a unique way to learn more about the area. Temple Square is another popular attraction in Salt Lake City.

Sundance Resort, Deer Creek Reservoir, Park City and the Heber Creeper Railroad are all worth exploring in the area around your Provo vacation rental. The Timpanogos Cave National Monument has clear underground pools and beautiful cave formations such as draperies, popcorn, stalactites and stalagmites.

Utah Vacation Rentals Enjoy All Four Seasons

Provo, like much of this area, has very hot summers with average temperatures well above 90 F. Winters are cold with overnight lows below freezing. In between, the spring and fall seasons offer pleasant temperatures, low humidity, little rainfall and plenty of beautiful scenery.
