  • Great home away from home!

"We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful condo. The accomodations were perfect for my husband and I, our 3 kids as well as my parents. There was plenty of living space for everyone, and the condo was very clean. The view from the kitchen and patio is beautiful. If you plan to do much cooking in, make sure to bring your own spices, oil, etc. as you will only find salt and pepper here. The pools were great that were part of the condo complex, however, the Green Valley Resort pools are not quite up and running at this time in March (the larger lap and outdoor pools are not heated until Easter), and the tennis passes and pool passes for the resort are separate - you get 6 per day with this condo which either count for tennis OR the pool but not both. Overall we had a fantastic stay and would absolutely stay here again!"

  • A sweet and charming home

"The Homeplace fit us perfectly! There was plenty of room for 7. The kids and the grandkids loved the pond and enjoyed daily canoe rides! Although the fish in the pond were too tiny to catch, the kids just had a blast fishing. The vegetable garden in the back wasnt quite what I expected since there was nothing there to harvest. The fruit on the apple trees weren't ready to pick either but it was still nice to know it's available if you book during harvest seasin. The property was great! We watched the neighbors herd in their cows which is a rare sight for us to see since we're from Vegas! We will definitely consider staying here again."

  • Perfect For Our Group

"We booked this condo for two families Christmas Vacation and it worked perfectly. We had three couples, two single young men and a 4 year old and the lay out was ideal. In addition, we had a pool table so in the evenings we cooked dinner and had pool tournaments. The 4 year old chalked all the pool sticks so everyone was able to join in. Each room had a tv so everyone could watch their own shows/movies if they felt like it and everyone, including the 4 year old, enjoyed the hot tub. The views were pretty from the master bedroom as, at night, we could view the lit up slopes for the night skiers. The location was perfect....very convenient to grocery stores, shopping, night life and the slopes. I would recommend this condo to anyone going to Park City."

"Very easy walking distance to town. The studio was small but fine for just 2 of us on this quick weekend trip."

Utah Travel Tips

Visitors to Utah Vacation Rentals

Many people underestimate the great wealth of attractions that the state of Utah has. Many people are aware that there are many top ski resorts but do not realize that the attractions extend to other activities or seasons. Golfers will be pleased to know that there are plenty of top quality championship courses available in Utah. And for a good part of the year, the weather is ideal for a round of 18 holes. There are cultural attractions in both the cities and more remote areas. If you are willing to go exploring, you will find a wealth of treasures. Explore old Wild West hideouts and discover the history behind the towns and cities. Outdoor enthusiasts can go whitewater rafting, hiking through the national parks, or mountain biking over the famous slick rock at Moab.

Activities and Attractions at Utah Vacation Houses

Utah is home to several national parks. Perhaps the two most well-known parks and favorite vacation spots are Bryce Canyon vacation rentals and Zion National Park cabins. Both of these parks have landscapes of distinctive red rock and canyons. There are several hiking trails and back roads that you can explore in all-terrain vehicles. It is a region that lends itself to photography and art inspiration. The mighty Colorado River and parts of the Grand Canyon cut across the southeastern corner of Utah. The Canyonlands and Arches National Parks can be found in this area. Lake Powell is one of the largest lakes in Utah and incorporates a length of the Colorado River. It is a huge recreational lake that is open to boating, waterskiing and fishing. There are nice sandy beaches and several marinas with boat launches and picnic areas. This is one of many lakes and reservoirs in Utah where you can enjoy recreational water sports.

For more exciting water activities, join a whitewater rafting excursion down the Colorado and ride some Grade V rapids that'll get the adrenalin going. Day trips and multi-day excursions are available. There are many regions that can be explored on horseback. Guided multi-day tours are available through local outfitters. There are also extensive mountain biking trails in Utah. Perhaps the most famous mountain biking region surrounds Moab vacation rentals. The snow skiing and snowboarding in Utah are legendary. There is an average of 500 inches of snow that falls annually in the Utah mountains at resorts like Park City vacation rentals and Deer Valley ski lodging, ensuring great skiing conditions. The peaks offer some challenging skiing for advanced skiers. Groomed trails cater to beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. There are 13 top quality ski resorts and most of them are within an hour's drive from Salt Lake City International Airport.

Seasons to Visit Utah Condos

The season that you choose to visit Utah will largely depend on your interests and the activities that you want to participate in. The ski season starts shortly after the first good snowfall and the resorts usually open in early December. If there are good snowfalls throughout the winter, the season can last until the middle or end of April. The peak ski season is from mid-December to mid-February. If you are wanting to go boating, rafting, biking or hiking, you may prefer to visit during the spring or summer months. This is also the best time of year to visit the National Parks.

Traveling to Utah

The main travel access point into Utah is the Salt Lake City International Airport. The airport hosts most regional airlines and has good links to most major cities in North America. To access the southern parts of Utah, the best access point is Las Vegas which is located just 70 miles from the state border of Nevada and Utah.
