  • Comfortable/Convenient/Spacious!

"This was a beautiful condo with plenty space for 2 people! Owner is super nice to work with and very accommodating. Condo was equipped with all the necessities including water, wine, beer and coffee. Kitchen could use a few more cooking knives! We felt it was more like home than a rental. Very convenient to the lifts -- shuttle passed quite often. We even walked a couple of times to the lifts. We plan to stay again next year. Thank you Richard!"

  • Fantastic Ladies' Ski Week, Wonderful Home!

"Our annual girls' ski trip to Deer Valley was perfect with bluebird days and great skiing conditions. The home was very comfortable and spacious, the kitchen well equipped for preparing gourmet meals, and each day after skiing we enjoyed the hot tub on the deck. Also liked the convenience of being so close to the base of DV Resort. Richard, the owner was great to work with and provided information and answers to questions in a very timely manner. Having the comforts of home on vacation is a big plus. Would definitely rent this home again."

  • They thought of EVERYTHING!

"We had a group of 8 adults in town for a motorcycle rally. With a mix of couples and singles, all the rooms and variety of spaces made it PERFECT! We could have as much togetherness or privacy as we wanted or needed. The setting was terrific and the owners truly thought of everything! There are plenty of linens, the kitchen is well-stocked (check the cupboards before you shop... some left you spices!), and the furnishings are very comfy. We cooked indoors and out. The table on the balcony was large enough for all of us. Hmmm, did they 'schedule' the deer to wander by in the mornings? We couldn't have asked for nicer accommodations! We're already thinking of other events we can plan in the Moab area and how many we can plan to bring along."

  • Great Stay

"We had an awesome stay at this location. The owners were so easy to work with and very accommodating. We loved the country feel and the quiet neighborhood. The boys really loved the chickens in the backyard. It was located close to town and easy to find. The house was clean and comfortable. Thanks for the great stay!!"

Utah Travel Tips

Visitors to Utah Vacation Rentals

Many people underestimate the great wealth of attractions that the state of Utah has. Many people are aware that there are many top ski resorts but do not realize that the attractions extend to other activities or seasons. Golfers will be pleased to know that there are plenty of top quality championship courses available in Utah. And for a good part of the year, the weather is ideal for a round of 18 holes. There are cultural attractions in both the cities and more remote areas. If you are willing to go exploring, you will find a wealth of treasures. Explore old Wild West hideouts and discover the history behind the towns and cities. Outdoor enthusiasts can go whitewater rafting, hiking through the national parks, or mountain biking over the famous slick rock at Moab.

Activities and Attractions at Utah Vacation Houses

Utah is home to several national parks. Perhaps the two most well-known parks and favorite vacation spots are Bryce Canyon vacation rentals and Zion National Park cabins. Both of these parks have landscapes of distinctive red rock and canyons. There are several hiking trails and back roads that you can explore in all-terrain vehicles. It is a region that lends itself to photography and art inspiration. The mighty Colorado River and parts of the Grand Canyon cut across the southeastern corner of Utah. The Canyonlands and Arches National Parks can be found in this area. Lake Powell is one of the largest lakes in Utah and incorporates a length of the Colorado River. It is a huge recreational lake that is open to boating, waterskiing and fishing. There are nice sandy beaches and several marinas with boat launches and picnic areas. This is one of many lakes and reservoirs in Utah where you can enjoy recreational water sports.

For more exciting water activities, join a whitewater rafting excursion down the Colorado and ride some Grade V rapids that'll get the adrenalin going. Day trips and multi-day excursions are available. There are many regions that can be explored on horseback. Guided multi-day tours are available through local outfitters. There are also extensive mountain biking trails in Utah. Perhaps the most famous mountain biking region surrounds Moab vacation rentals. The snow skiing and snowboarding in Utah are legendary. There is an average of 500 inches of snow that falls annually in the Utah mountains at resorts like Park City vacation rentals and Deer Valley ski lodging, ensuring great skiing conditions. The peaks offer some challenging skiing for advanced skiers. Groomed trails cater to beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. There are 13 top quality ski resorts and most of them are within an hour's drive from Salt Lake City International Airport.

Seasons to Visit Utah Condos

The season that you choose to visit Utah will largely depend on your interests and the activities that you want to participate in. The ski season starts shortly after the first good snowfall and the resorts usually open in early December. If there are good snowfalls throughout the winter, the season can last until the middle or end of April. The peak ski season is from mid-December to mid-February. If you are wanting to go boating, rafting, biking or hiking, you may prefer to visit during the spring or summer months. This is also the best time of year to visit the National Parks.
