  • Awesome, Clean Unit

"We visited Zion then booked a stay at the King Studio before heading onto Bryce the following morning. The place was perfect. Spotlessly clean. The owner was very helpful, even when I changed my plans last minute. Beautiful view of the stars from the little patio. One recommendation, eat in Zion or Bryce before heading out to this location. Very remote and the little store closed at 8:30. Also watch out for wildlife on the road."

  • relaxing ski vacation

"I brought my family to Park City for the first time this holiday season. We had a very relaxing trip and enjoyed our stay in Fawngrove. The slopes were packed but we were able to enjoy ourselves and learned to buy our lift tickets ahead of time, Deer Valley was SOLD OUT three of the days we wanted to ski. I couldn't believe it. We have definitely found a great ski town to visit again, our kids can't wait to visit again in the future."

  • Our Favorite Winiter Retreat

"This was our 3rd Thanksgiving and 5th trip to the Red Horse Ranch. It's one of the places we have stayed. The kids have a blast and all the comforts of home are available. I can't say enough about this home and the people that keep it up. Carla is wonderful and helpful and Pam is just as helpful and kind. It's a great place to stay, relax and enjoy some time off."

  • Rina M

"Our stay here was great. The pictures were accurate. We loved the "pay it forward" concept with the pantry and did use a few items but left all our extra nonperishable as replacement. The condo was clean with comfortable beds, ample bedding and towels. We had to roll up the plastic stair protector after 2 people tripped on it and slid down the stairs. We didn't want a broken leg from the condo stairs on our ski trip! Loved having the crockpot! The oven seemed to take a very, very, long time to preheat. After the first day we had to plan accordingly for that. Also, really could use a larger (or second) cookie sheet or jelly roll pan. We did find it necessary to drive to the cabriolet parking lot each day we skied The Canyons because the distance was too great in ski boots for walking. That wasn't a problem though. The community pool and hot tub were clean and well supervised. We used them most afternoons. Our property manager was fabulous in supplying us with steeply discounted tickets to all three resorts which saved us considerable money. I would highly recommend using her for this benefit. I would most definately recommend this property for price, function, cleanliness and overall appearance. It's perfect for a large family or 2 families with older kids who can ski well and who are willing to stay on the slopes all day without coming back and forth to the condo. for lunch or rest."

Utah Travel Tips

Visitors to Utah Vacation Rentals

Many people underestimate the great wealth of attractions that the state of Utah has. Many people are aware that there are many top ski resorts but do not realize that the attractions extend to other activities or seasons. Golfers will be pleased to know that there are plenty of top quality championship courses available in Utah. And for a good part of the year, the weather is ideal for a round of 18 holes. There are cultural attractions in both the cities and more remote areas. If you are willing to go exploring, you will find a wealth of treasures. Explore old Wild West hideouts and discover the history behind the towns and cities. Outdoor enthusiasts can go whitewater rafting, hiking through the national parks, or mountain biking over the famous slick rock at Moab.

Activities and Attractions at Utah Vacation Houses

Utah is home to several national parks. Perhaps the two most well-known parks and favorite vacation spots are Bryce Canyon vacation rentals and Zion National Park cabins. Both of these parks have landscapes of distinctive red rock and canyons. There are several hiking trails and back roads that you can explore in all-terrain vehicles. It is a region that lends itself to photography and art inspiration. The mighty Colorado River and parts of the Grand Canyon cut across the southeastern corner of Utah. The Canyonlands and Arches National Parks can be found in this area. Lake Powell is one of the largest lakes in Utah and incorporates a length of the Colorado River. It is a huge recreational lake that is open to boating, waterskiing and fishing. There are nice sandy beaches and several marinas with boat launches and picnic areas. This is one of many lakes and reservoirs in Utah where you can enjoy recreational water sports.

For more exciting water activities, join a whitewater rafting excursion down the Colorado and ride some Grade V rapids that'll get the adrenalin going. Day trips and multi-day excursions are available. There are many regions that can be explored on horseback. Guided multi-day tours are available through local outfitters. There are also extensive mountain biking trails in Utah. Perhaps the most famous mountain biking region surrounds Moab vacation rentals. The snow skiing and snowboarding in Utah are legendary. There is an average of 500 inches of snow that falls annually in the Utah mountains at resorts like Park City vacation rentals and Deer Valley ski lodging, ensuring great skiing conditions. The peaks offer some challenging skiing for advanced skiers. Groomed trails cater to beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. There are 13 top quality ski resorts and most of them are within an hour's drive from Salt Lake City International Airport.

Seasons to Visit Utah Condos

The season that you choose to visit Utah will largely depend on your interests and the activities that you want to participate in. The ski season starts shortly after the first good snowfall and the resorts usually open in early December. If there are good snowfalls throughout the winter, the season can last until the middle or end of April. The peak ski season is from mid-December to mid-February. If you are wanting to go boating, rafting, biking or hiking, you may prefer to visit during the spring or summer months. This is also the best time of year to visit the National Parks.
