  • Great reunion spot for families with young children

"We just returned from a four day family reunion at the lodge. With 15 adults and 19 children (all under the age of 10), it was the perfect location for us. The set-up made it easy for young families to put kids to bed, without being tied right to their rooms for the night. The backyard provided endless hours of fun for our older children. The good-sized kitchen and three refrigerators allowed us to make our own meals, saving lots of money. There was plenty of room for large group activities, as well. Thanks Charles and Laureen for making this lodge available and for helping us feel at home!"

  • Chic Loft

"From the minute we walked through the door were pleasantly surprised. The loft was immaculate and furnished with high end furniture, appliances, and linens. The kitchen was well stocked kitchen and the internet connection was super fast. After a day of walking, it was nice to enjoy the patio to relax. The downtown location is perfect; a stone’s throw away from Trax and The Gateway; easy walking distance to numerous restaurants, coffee houses, City Creek Center, Capitol Theatre, Energy Solutions Arena, and the Salt Lake Convention Center. Recommend Vosen’s bakery for coffee and bread. Gina and Dennis provided detailed instructions that were very easy to follow. They were great to deal with and responded promptly to any questions that we had. Thank you so much Gina and Dennis for sharing your chic downtown loft with us. It was perfect!"

  • Great Location

"Sunspot was very easy to get to - we took a taxi from SLC airport - once there the free shuttle bus runs from outside the entrance making the slopes at Park City and Deer Valley a breeze. Main street was a 5 minute walk and the shops were only 10 minutes on the bus. Although the interior looks a little dated, it is well equiped and the kitchen is very well appointed. The hot tub on the roof was a real bonus; as were the private bathrooms with each bedroom. The owner was extremely helpful when we asked if we could arrive 4 hours early and the maintenance team fixed a minor issue within hours of letting them know. If we were to go back to Park City we would stay here again."

  • Perfect ski condo

"What a beautiful, well equipped, clean condo! I've stayed at many ski condos over the years and I have to say this one is near the top. You can tell the owner is first a skier, and a person that takes tremendous care of the place and enjoys it herself. This gives it a very cozy feel and not the cookie-cutter/cheap furniture rental condos feel that you get sometimes with a rental. And we even had stuff like sugar, flour, some coffee, basic pantry stuff in the cupboard when we arrived....and a Guinness or 2! I just hope its available for us again next year. The sundial lodge itself we found very nice. Nice pool, hot tubs, 3 minute walk to lift, nice little store for some food, beer wine etc.. And canyons are huge and enough for days of skiing without doing runs twice. Not as dramatic scenery/terrain as alta-snowbird and conditions at lower levels can get mushy but this was not an issue at all since its so huge and more than enough at higher levels."
