  • Lovely Weekend

"Just wanted to say what a great place to stay! During the weekend of July 11, we stayed at the house and loved everything about it. The location is perfect as we were able to walk to the older part of Park City in minutes to visit all the shops and businesses there. Everything about the house met our expectations and will stay here again. I cannot thank Al enough for his prompt response to our questions and making the entire rental process easy for us."

  • Unbeatable price in Park City for what it is

"My husband and I just got back from a week staying in the Powderloft. We used it as a basecamp to check out all of the Park City area ski resorts. While we enjoyed our stay, there were a few surprises that I wanted others to be aware of. But first, I will say that it is a true to the photos, clean and well maintained. Our first annoyance was that the walls in the Prospector are ridiculously thin. I'm sure this may all be a matter of what you are used to in apartment buildings and motels/hotels, but to us it seemed like everything came right through the walls - babies crying, showers running, people walking in ski boots, etc. (And we live in a townhouse/condo so we are used to living with shared wall space). We found it very hard to sleep the first couple nights, until we found a fan in the loft that drowned out the noise (and even then I had to use earplugs to sleep). The second annoyance was that the "on site" jacuzzi was a pretty far walk for winter. Part of the reason I jumped at this place was because I love an apres ski hot tub soak. The jacuzzi is so far away I felt the need to drive over to it because by the time I would have soaked and walked back, I'd be cold again. All this being said however, the price of the Powderloft is about 1/5 that of similar studio type rentals in Park City, so I feel a bit bad complaining. While it was a great value, I'm not sure we'll stay here again - I think we'd be willing to pay a bit more to have thicker walls and a closer hot tub. However if neither of the above things would bother you and/or you really like getting a steal of a deal, I would definitely recommend the Powderloft. I just wanted to write a review so others would not be surprised as we were by these things."

  • Perfect for A Family Reunion!

"We searched a lot for a place for our family reunion, and no other rental came close to accommodating our family like Deer's Acre. The name is perfect as deer came through the property every day. The house worked so well for us with bedrooms that had attached bathrooms, large gathering room, large dining room and modern kitchen. We enjoyed the decks and the kids had many adventures in the large yard. There was plenty of space to set up two Corn Hole games for a tournament, and lots of parking. There are many activities available in the area as well as national parks. The property owner was a delight to work with. It was a wonderful get-a-way for us and we hope to go back again!"

  • Perfect!

"Our family of four just recently stayed at this wonderful property between 12-26 and 12-30. I will start out by saying that I am a very picky person when it comes to accommodations. I find that a lot of listings that are advertised as "luxury" fall short once you actually see it in person. That was NOT the case with this property. Upon arrival all my expections were met. We loved the heated garage with direct access to the unit, wonderful kitchen, hot tub and the location was amazing. Everything in the property is brand new and well taken care of and the linens had all the comforts of home. This was our families first time to Park City so in addition to skiing we also enjoyed dog sledding, snowmobiling, tubing at Gorgoza Park and shopping on Main St. In addition, the owner Steve was a very gracious host. I highly recommend this property and we look forward to returning next winter."
