  • Our skiing vacation at Deer Valley

"We had a great time. Perfect skiing conditions. The condominium was in the perfect location. We walked across the street to the lifts at Silver Lake Lodge. One of the best features was being able to store our skis at Silver Lake Lodge every evening. We were minutes away from Park City with perfect access to public transportation if needed. We loved the amenities at the unit. The large hot tub was perfect after a long day of skiing. Our daughters loved the bunk beds. The only suggestion I would have for the unit is to improve the lighting. It seemed like every light bulb was 40 W. We could barely see. The lighting in the kitchen was poor. No undercounted lighting or bright lights over the sink."

  • Ultra-luxurious Condo.

"It is rare that one can say that something exceeded our expectations, but our stay at this condominium was truly outstanding. First, the unit was custom decorated by the owners for their own family. Warm touches were evident. The owners obviously spared no expense-to our benefit. Further, they only rent for a few select periods during ski season, so that there is no wear and tear. Accordingly, the unit and furnishings are brand new. The owners were also wonderful to deal with. They are a very nice family and went out of their way to make sure that every aspect of our stay was first class. They truly love Deer Valley and the surrounding area and wanted our trip to be memorable. It was. The unit is absolutely gorgeous. The owners installed a 52" flatscreen over the fireplace, which required them to actually expand the fireplace. The other units in the building came with much smaller tv's. Our friends stayed in another unit and we saw the difference-night and day. Further, there is a GREAT surround sound system in the great room, with speakers in the ceilings and fine equipment in the closet. All handled by wireless remote. There were even Blu-ray discs in the unit. Great stuff. Our master had a 46" flatscreen with dvd and stereo speakers in the ceiling. The two other rooms, occupied by our three kids, each had 32" flatscreens and dvd players. All wireless. All the bedding is as the owner states-luxurious. The bedrooms are well appointed and have high hat lighting and ceiling fans. It was so great to see a unit that didn't rely on a table lamps in the bedrooms for light. This lighting and the ceiling fans were obviously custom as we visited two other units in the building that had no bedroom lighting or fans. The kitchen had first class appliances and utensils. The nicest unit we have ever stayed in, anywhere. The stone deck was also lovely and the floor to ceiling views of the mountains from the great room was wonderful. The unit is right on the Silver Buck ski run and is truly ski in/out. Really nice ski locker area with boot heaters and great storage for all of our ski stuff. Couldn't think of anything that was not included. Just great. So, if you are looking for a new and first-class ski in/out condo at Deer Valley, this is it. The snow was great and Deer Valley is our family favorite. Thanks so much to this family for sharing their home!"

  • Nice condo in a quiet resort

"Lots of space for 2, fully equipped kitchen, heated underground parking, decent furnishings, nice view were all pluses. Very hard bed and slow elevator were the minuses. Solitude is very quiet and peaceful with very few restaurants and no nightlife to speak of, but was just what we wanted."

Seasons to Visit Utah Condos

The season that you choose to visit Utah will largely depend on your interests and the activities that you want to participate in. The ski season starts shortly after the first good snowfall and the resorts usually open in early December. If there are good snowfalls throughout the winter, the season can last until the middle or end of April. The peak ski season is from mid-December to mid-February. If you are wanting to go boating, rafting, biking or hiking, you may prefer to visit during the spring or summer months. This is also the best time of year to visit the National Parks.

Traveling to Utah

The main travel access point into Utah is the Salt Lake City International Airport. The airport hosts most regional airlines and has good links to most major cities in North America. To access the southern parts of Utah, the best access point is Las Vegas which is located just 70 miles from the state border of Nevada and Utah.
