  • Special Place!

"Sunset Lodge is well priced for all that you get. It's view from up high in Solamere goes on forever. Very comfortable beds, sleeps lots of people, perfect layout, tons of space to spread out, pool table is fun, hot tub is clean and new, and the house is kept very clean. We stayed in the summer and came to realize that we might like summer even better than winter in Deer Valley (we never thought that was possible). Also, the owners were diligent and thoughtful throughout the process! We will be back!"

  • Our favorite getaway!

"This is our favorite place to vacation! We've stayed at this condo every year for the past few years in both the summer and winter. We are so impressed at how clean and comfortable the condo is! The atmosphere is very cozy and comfortable. Having a full kitchen and washer and dryer also makes it really convenient for us. We love that there are books and movies for entertainment. It really feels like we were at home! The location is perfect! In the winter we love to spend a weekend snow boarding at The Canyons and in the summer we love to find new places to fish and hike as well. We would highly recommend the beautiful scenic drive through Gaurdsman Pass which brings you down into Heber Valley. The colors in the fall are absolutely breathtaking! Also the drive to Mirror Lake is stunning and brings you to some great fishing. Make sure to stop at Provo River Falls for some beautiful photo opportunities. Park Silly Sunday is always very fun and entertaining. No matter what time of year we are there we always have an incredible time! Shopping at the outlets, walking down main street, eating at our favorite mexican restaurant Baja Cantina, there is never a dull moment! We have always been more than satisfied with our stays here and will be returning for many more!"

  • Perfect spot for our ski vacation; we would stay here again!

"Three men in our 50s met up in Park City and stayed in this Snowflower Condominium. Everyone agreed that we should stay here again next year. The price was lower than other slope side properties that we looked at and the location was perfect for our ski vacation. We had a car (convenient garage parking in the basement) but you could get by without one if you don't mind walking a little to save on your vacation costs. It's about a 10 minute walk to the Fresh Market or Village Market for groceries, and about 5 minutes to a free shuttle stop, which we took when we went into Park City for ski rentals, shopping, and restaurants. We cooked most of our meals in the condo and found the kitchen to be well equipped. The Eagle Chair and First Time Chair are located right outside the back door of the building, as is the hot tub and heated pool. This made things really simple. There was a ski locker for us on the ground floor, and a lock was provided by the owners. The location made it convenient to ski in and have lunch each day. We couldn't have asked for a better ski in/out location. The condo was nicely furnished and the convertible bed in an alcove of the living room was very comfortable according to my friend who slept there. I won the coin toss and got the Master Bedroom and the King bed was also very comfortable. There were TVs in every room, wifi, and a dvd player in the living room. The bath towels were very nice and fluffy, and beach towels were provided for the pool and hot tub. First place I've been where the pool was just as warm as the hot tub; this was nice. There are 2 gas log fireplaces which heat really well and dry out your stuff in no time. The back porch provides a nice sunny spot to enjoy lunch while watching the people around the chair lifts. We used the gas grill on the back porch twice and it performed well. It takes about 30 seconds to walk to the laundry room which is on the same floor. The Eagle Chair provides quick access to the King Con area. The First Time Chair is a good for beginners, and will also take you over to where you can ski to the other lifts. I will offer up this tip: If you are a light sleeper you might want to bring some ear plugs as the snow cats work at night and their beeping noises could be annoying to some people. But that's just the way it is when you stay slope side anywhere. The owners were responsive, courteous, and very helpful with information. I would recommend this unit to a friend."

Utah Travel Tips

Visitors to Utah Vacation Rentals

Many people underestimate the great wealth of attractions that the state of Utah has. Many people are aware that there are many top ski resorts but do not realize that the attractions extend to other activities or seasons. Golfers will be pleased to know that there are plenty of top quality championship courses available in Utah. And for a good part of the year, the weather is ideal for a round of 18 holes. There are cultural attractions in both the cities and more remote areas. If you are willing to go exploring, you will find a wealth of treasures. Explore old Wild West hideouts and discover the history behind the towns and cities. Outdoor enthusiasts can go whitewater rafting, hiking through the national parks, or mountain biking over the famous slick rock at Moab.

Activities and Attractions at Utah Vacation Houses

Utah is home to several national parks. Perhaps the two most well-known parks and favorite vacation spots are Bryce Canyon vacation rentals and Zion National Park cabins. Both of these parks have landscapes of distinctive red rock and canyons. There are several hiking trails and back roads that you can explore in all-terrain vehicles. It is a region that lends itself to photography and art inspiration. The mighty Colorado River and parts of the Grand Canyon cut across the southeastern corner of Utah. The Canyonlands and Arches National Parks can be found in this area. Lake Powell is one of the largest lakes in Utah and incorporates a length of the Colorado River. It is a huge recreational lake that is open to boating, waterskiing and fishing. There are nice sandy beaches and several marinas with boat launches and picnic areas. This is one of many lakes and reservoirs in Utah where you can enjoy recreational water sports.

For more exciting water activities, join a whitewater rafting excursion down the Colorado and ride some Grade V rapids that'll get the adrenalin going. Day trips and multi-day excursions are available. There are many regions that can be explored on horseback. Guided multi-day tours are available through local outfitters. There are also extensive mountain biking trails in Utah. Perhaps the most famous mountain biking region surrounds Moab vacation rentals. The snow skiing and snowboarding in Utah are legendary. There is an average of 500 inches of snow that falls annually in the Utah mountains at resorts like Park City vacation rentals and Deer Valley ski lodging, ensuring great skiing conditions. The peaks offer some challenging skiing for advanced skiers. Groomed trails cater to beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. There are 13 top quality ski resorts and most of them are within an hour's drive from Salt Lake City International Airport.

Seasons to Visit Utah Condos

The season that you choose to visit Utah will largely depend on your interests and the activities that you want to participate in. The ski season starts shortly after the first good snowfall and the resorts usually open in early December. If there are good snowfalls throughout the winter, the season can last until the middle or end of April. The peak ski season is from mid-December to mid-February. If you are wanting to go boating, rafting, biking or hiking, you may prefer to visit during the spring or summer months. This is also the best time of year to visit the National Parks.
