  • Clean, close to Snowbird, not recommended for children/seniors

"My friends and I had a fantastic time celebrating my 40th birthday skiing at Snowbird. The townhome provided everything we needed for comfortable stay only 15-20 minutes from Snowbird. The owner was very helpful in answering questions, for example recommending Lifthouse for discount lift tickets. We loved the large dining table for eating breakfast together. My worst injury from the weekend wasn't from snowboarding, but from falling down the stairs in the townhome. The stairs are very narrow at the top, and make a quarter spiral that requires careful attention. Based on this experience, I wouldn't stay here if traveling with my kids or my parents."

  • Ski Vacation

"We rented this lovely home for an 8 night ski vacation in February 2014. We were travelling with 3 adults and 3 teens and this home exceeded all of our expectations. We loved the ski in/out, everyone could begin & end their day separately. We all enjoyed the hot tub each day after skiing and a fire every night when we got home from dinner. Everyone was thrilled with the 2 block walk to Main Street for shopping and dining. The beds were sooo comfortable, cozy family room furniture and the kitchen was well stocked, we ate in 2 nights. Would be afraid to rent anywhere else! This home had it all."

  • Great Place for a Family Reunion

"Great place to stay. Cabin was clean and well organized for families. We had a family reunion so we had children of all ages. Loved the playground equipment outside and also the downstairs recreational area. We spent time at Bear lake at Randezvous Beach and it was great. The view of Bear Lake from the Cabin is wonderful. Would have liked to have had some soap to use in the showers. There was liquid hand soap by the sinks but no soap for the showers. Overall it was a great place to stay. Family wants to do it again."

  • Amazing location, very affordable.

"This condo was perfect for me and my 6 friends that did the Wasatch Ragnar race. Plenty of showers and beds for everyone and walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in downtown Park City. Would be great for skiing too, only a few blocks from the town lift."

Utah Travel Tips

Visitors to Utah Vacation Rentals

Many people underestimate the great wealth of attractions that the state of Utah has. Many people are aware that there are many top ski resorts but do not realize that the attractions extend to other activities or seasons. Golfers will be pleased to know that there are plenty of top quality championship courses available in Utah. And for a good part of the year, the weather is ideal for a round of 18 holes. There are cultural attractions in both the cities and more remote areas. If you are willing to go exploring, you will find a wealth of treasures. Explore old Wild West hideouts and discover the history behind the towns and cities. Outdoor enthusiasts can go whitewater rafting, hiking through the national parks, or mountain biking over the famous slick rock at Moab.

Activities and Attractions at Utah Vacation Houses

Utah is home to several national parks. Perhaps the two most well-known parks and favorite vacation spots are Bryce Canyon vacation rentals and Zion National Park cabins. Both of these parks have landscapes of distinctive red rock and canyons. There are several hiking trails and back roads that you can explore in all-terrain vehicles. It is a region that lends itself to photography and art inspiration. The mighty Colorado River and parts of the Grand Canyon cut across the southeastern corner of Utah. The Canyonlands and Arches National Parks can be found in this area. Lake Powell is one of the largest lakes in Utah and incorporates a length of the Colorado River. It is a huge recreational lake that is open to boating, waterskiing and fishing. There are nice sandy beaches and several marinas with boat launches and picnic areas. This is one of many lakes and reservoirs in Utah where you can enjoy recreational water sports.

For more exciting water activities, join a whitewater rafting excursion down the Colorado and ride some Grade V rapids that'll get the adrenalin going. Day trips and multi-day excursions are available. There are many regions that can be explored on horseback. Guided multi-day tours are available through local outfitters. There are also extensive mountain biking trails in Utah. Perhaps the most famous mountain biking region surrounds Moab vacation rentals. The snow skiing and snowboarding in Utah are legendary. There is an average of 500 inches of snow that falls annually in the Utah mountains at resorts like Park City vacation rentals and Deer Valley ski lodging, ensuring great skiing conditions. The peaks offer some challenging skiing for advanced skiers. Groomed trails cater to beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. There are 13 top quality ski resorts and most of them are within an hour's drive from Salt Lake City International Airport.

Seasons to Visit Utah Condos

The season that you choose to visit Utah will largely depend on your interests and the activities that you want to participate in. The ski season starts shortly after the first good snowfall and the resorts usually open in early December. If there are good snowfalls throughout the winter, the season can last until the middle or end of April. The peak ski season is from mid-December to mid-February. If you are wanting to go boating, rafting, biking or hiking, you may prefer to visit during the spring or summer months. This is also the best time of year to visit the National Parks.
