  • Lava Falls @ Entrada

"My family and I stayed for a few nights after Christmas. We wanted to try out our new Christmas bikes where we knew there wouldn't be any snow. We have stayed in other parts of St. George before, but never in Santa Clara. We loved it. Especially for our biking agenda. The house is right near the end point of a nice little paved biking trail that was perfect for our little kids. The next day, we went up to Snow Canyon and rode the bike path down the canyon a few times. December is the perfect time for this...very few people. The house has 7 beds, but we had 8 in our family. Lem was really great to work with and he arranged for an awesome blowup mattress that the kids thought was great. The house has a great layout even for a big family with 6 kids. The location is really great. The views of the red rock cliffs and Snow Canyon are fantastic. We chose a pretty cold week, but even with the chilly weather we had a great time. Would highly recommend, and we'll likely be repeating at some time in the future."

  • The snowmobiling was amazing!!!

"Just wanted to let you know that we had a great time at your awesome cabin! The emails were awesome and instructions were great. You have everything very organized. We didn't get up there until after dark and it was a little hard to see the sign at your cabin. Having the cabin warm when we got there was the best and we totally loved the heated floors!!! It had everything we needed. We used the hot tub once. Loved all the soft, warm blankets. The snowmobiling was amazing!!! So fun to drive them right from the cabin and into such beauty. It was so nice not to have to bring high chairs & port a cribs for the little ones. Our overall experience was great and we would love to use it again in the future. Thanks again. G&C & family"

  • Second time back!

"Last time we brought the family, this time it was just the two of us. What an amazingly peaceful place. The house was just as clean and beautiful as it was five years ago. We ourselves are now looking to buy in the area. We traveled to Duck Creek and all the surrounding areas. The first thing we discovered is that there is not that many true" log" homes. Most are stick frame with siding. Second, Orderville, is at the perfect elevation. You have accessibility year long to the area. You get enough winter snow to enjoy the novelty of it, but not so much you get "cabin fever!" The days are warm but the nights cool off. The off the beaten path factor of this log home is the real gem, there is a grand total of six log homes scattered in the area, Duck Creek was literally a buzz with dozens of ATV's kicking up dust, my husband actually said it looked like a ATV drag strip! and most of the homes are built right upon each other, the week we spent at the log home, there were three ATV's in the area. We have no issue with ATV's, we have them, but when you have so many people using them in one area you never get a way from them. The proximity to Zion, Bryce, North Rim of the Grand Canyon and Coral Pink Sand Dunes can't be beat. It didn't take us long to realize that what we were looking for was exactly what we were staying in! Yes, we're building in Quarter Circle H Ranch! You honestly can't wrong with this log home. It has enough room for a large family or a couple of families to share. The home has everything you need to be comfortable during your stay. The kitchen is well equipped for any cooking project, cookie sheets, large roaster for turkey, serving platters etc. we happened upon a French waffle maker this visit. The kitchen has more then enough room for several cooks as well as an eating bar with stools for cook time conversation. With the bunk room and large screen TV being down stairs for the children, along with a bar and table sitting for the adults if they choose, it leaves two other levels to enjoy, like sitting outside at night on the deck and enjoying the night sky filled with more stars than you can imagine. We also discovered a new German bakery/eatery on the outskirts of town going North. John and Tammy are very friendly and accommodating. This property is really the perfect home base for your Utah get away!"

  • Great space!

"This space worked out perfectly for a get-together between friends. The trek up to the lodge from the parking lot can be treacherous in the winter if the snow is deep, but it made for a great story experience between friends and makes you feel isolated from the world without being too remote (the hike is only 300ft). Everything was as described and we couldn't be happier with our time at the Wasatch Mountain Lodge. Big space for fun events! Plus it was ski in/out so our friends that had Brighton passes went on to ski the next day!"
