  • Cozy condo

"My family and I stayed here just before Christmas and we had a great time. The condo is clean and cozy. The living space is larger than it appears in the pictures. The location is awesome - truly ski in/ ski out. Best of all, the owners are lovely and accommodating. We will be back and will definitely consider renting here again."

  • Good Gathering Spot for Group

"Our group of 14 recently gathered here for two evenings for a work-related retreat. The layout is perfect for this with the large open living/dining/kitchen layout and plenty of beds and large bean bags. We were disappointed by a couple of things including the grill not working and no games for the hyped game room. We did find the ping pong table in a closet but no paddles (or air hockey). Fortunately, we were able to salvage the meals we had planned for the grill by using the large griddle in the kitchen. Overall, we were happy and would consider using this rental again provided that some things were guaranteed."

  • Retirement Trip

"Vermont is beautiful in the fall. The whole state seems to be full of charming small towns. We have never visited a cleaner or more friendly place. One day we drove to Center Harbor NH, the site of Keepsake Quilting (I'm a quilter). The difference in the two places was astonishing. Stay in Vermont! We both loved the Shelburn Museum and getting to see Lake Champlain. We loved southern VT and mainly explored the small towns around Jamica. The house was just as lovely as promised, loved the gas fireplace stove, the kitchen well equipped, the tub lovely. My husband painted, took a million pictures, and we both RELAXED. Loved it, hated to leave."

  • Another wonderful week in heaven!

"This was our second stay at this small slice of heaven, and we enjoyed the visit even more than the first time! Even when the weather makes it an indoor day, the view of the lake is beautiful; the design of the house means that you see the lake from wherever you choose to settle in this cozy house. Bring your own food, because a comprehensive grocery store is some miles away, but the full-sized kitchen has a very good collection of cooking and dining ware. Lots of stairs, so it wouldn't be a good choice for someone with mobility issues. The bed is extremely comfortable, which certainly isn't the case for many rentals! The new dock is a great place to sit, there's a good collection of kayaks available, and the lake is clean and beautiful. Oh, and the local caretaker is lovely. This is a lovely romantic spot, and it also would be a wonderful writer's retreat."
