"We stayed in the cottage the first weekend in October (2015) and had a wonderful time. It had everything that was needed for a family of 4. Clean, well furnished and well stocked. It is conveniently located to downtown Manchester (2 min drive). The owners Norma and Joe were very pleasant and provided us with fresh eggs, Vermont cheese, milk, apples, etc. Luckily, Norma had recently made a batch of grape jam and gave us a jar - which we're still enjoying. We picked apples and Asian pear on the property which the kids really liked."

"This house is beautiful. Impeccably clean, decorated wonderfully, and overall a perfect house for a getaway. We stayed during the fall, so while we were not there to take advantage of the great skiing, we were able to enjoy many other activities that the area offered. The house is very close to the cute downtown of Ludlow, convienant access to hiking trails, and near a few great brewerys. We will definitely be returning in the future for the fall and probably to ski in the winter!

"Our extended family came to town for a birthday celebration. The former Misty Mountain Lodge was a perfect setting for the group to stay. The bedrooms are well appointed and there are great spots for large group hang outs including the awesome gourmet kitchen, yard and living room. The location has a great view and is close to Mt. Snow, the village of Wilmington, lakes and some great hikes. Overall, terrific spot and responsive owner and caretaker. Would definitely use it again."

"Our second stay and we loved it. The location is rural, private, but ten munutes from Middlebury. Good resturants,
Beautiful college town.
The house is new and beautiful, friendly neighbors, (cute small donkeys) and apple trees on the property. Lucky for us
The apples were ripe.
