"We just wrapped up a wonderful week get-away to this cabin on Center Pond. It was our first time to the Northeast Kingdom of VT. The pond and setting are lovely; the fishing amazing. We ate delicious lake trout for several meals. The cabin has basic amenities and is well-stocked with soaps, paper products, etc. It would be nice to have a binder for renters providing a list of local grocery stores, restaurants and so forth for those new to the area. We had a little problem finding the road at first, so specific directions along with street address would also be helpful. The calling of the loons along with a blue moon were a perfect ending to a great week."

"I just came back from spending 4 nights at this incredible house. There were 14 of us on a ski vacation to Pico, 4 families with our young adult children in there 20's. Upon arrival I was so happy to see a beautiful house with beautiful snow covered property. Inside the house was spotless and huge! Everything you need is there from spices to extra linens and lots of extra towels. The pictures on the website are spot on but the house is even lovelier in person. There are two refrigerators, one upstairs, one downstairs which was great because we made our dinners ahead of time so we were free after skiing to relax by the cozy fireplace or wood stove. James is the local manager and he couldn't be nicer, there for anything you may need.
Joan is the owner and is terrific in her correspondence, always getting back to me quickly and effeciently, never minding any questions I had.
We skied Pico which we have been to before and LOVE. Conditions were fantastic and there never seems to be a long line. I love the people there. The best part is, that the house is about 6 minutes away!
I would go back to this house in a minute and I hope I get the chance to. Do not hesitate to stay here!"

"I spent a couple days at New Years here and had just a wonderful time. The house is beautiful, spacious, clean, well maintained, and comfortable. It was perfect for a larger group - there is great communal space, a wonderful fire place, and enough room for people to spread out without feeling crowded. 9 people slept comfortably. The kitchen is well stocked for most cooking projects, even those on the ambitious side. Tamara was excellent - so responsive, gave great tips about the area, and was really quick to answer questions. And although we spent most of the time just lounging in the house, the area right near by is quite fun - Simon Pierce is just down the road, a group of us went to the King Arthur Flour Mill and to the Quechee Gorge. Although this winter the snow has been less than excellent the place is really convenient to Killington and Pico Mountains. We are looking forward to coming back!"

"This is our 2nd year back @ the house & the 9th yr of our group ski trip. This is the best house we have ever stayed @. Nick is the best owner to ever deal with. I highly recommend this house. This house is beautiful. There is so much to do after a day of skiing, and is located to go to a few different ski resorts. U will not b disappointed with this house or owner."
