  • Great house for big group!

"We had a great MLK weekend up in Vermont. The house was fully equipped and there was plenty of bedding and kitchen supplies. Owner was great! He was very helpful and very prompt responding to emails. House is great for a large group. We have young kids and there were plenty of games for them to play with too after a long day of skiing. All in all I would definitely recommend this home for a large family or group of friends!"

  • Great place with Fantastic Sites

"I have been coming to the cottage the past two years. Clean, quiet, peaceful place to relax. The fishing is spectacular and the sites you see on the water and on land are nature at its best."

  • 4.8 stars...amazing summer family retreat.

"This property was so great for our family vacation...three grandparents, three children and their partners, three grandchildren, and rooms and baths to spare! A sampling of our week... We went fishing and caught a huge pike and plenty of perch right in front of the house. We went sailing out of Ladd's Marina down the road in Grand Isle. We had picnics at Alburgh Dunes State Park and St. Anne's Shrine. We went biking all over the islands. We took a quick trip into Montreal for lunch and shopping. We launched a ski boat just down the road and tied it up at the private dock right in front of the house. We had huge family dinners on the patio every night while we watched the sunset over the lake. We had a bonfire in the back yard (also played Bocci and horseshoes and volleyball back there). The only thing that kept this rating from being 5 stars was the tap water and the road... There is not a well on the property so we had to use bottled water for drinking, brushing teeth, and raw food prep. Not a big deal, really...with 12 people in the house we still only went through 1 gallon per person. The other concern we had was the road that we had to cross to get to the dock/lake. During the day, not busy at all, but nights and weekends was a different story. Again, not a big deal, just had to make certain the kids were playing in the back yard and were always accompanied down to the lake. All in all an amazing bargain...a place like this could easily fetch $4000/week further south on the lake...$6000 on Sunapee, Sebago, or Winnepesauke...and even more on the cape!"

  • Excellent Condo Stay

"The condo was perfect for our 2 day soccer tournament. It comfortably housed 6 teen-aged girls and 2 moms. The pool was a hit after a hot day of games. Both the owner and property manager were responsive and regularly checked in during our stay. The condo was clean, had all the amenities, and I highly recommend it. We look forward to snagging it again next year!"
