  • The property was just as it was represented!

"We recently stayed at the JaMari Acres for 7 days and enjoyed it very much. The house is very clean, comfy and well maintained, the decor is perfect. It is located in a very peaceful setting, surrounded by hills and country roads with walking trails. All you have to bring is your food and clothes, everything is available. Upon arrival we had waiting a large beautiful bouquet of fresh cut flowers from the owners' garden; the smell filled the cabin - Thank You! We spent every morning and evening on the porch watching the haze disappear on the mountains and the sun go down in the evenings. Although we had no issues or problems, the owners made it clear that they are totally committed to making sure their guest are taken care of. We recommend this rental to anyone looking for a great place to stay while in the Jay Peak/Montgomery area."

  • Vt cabin

"Very clean, comfortable place to stay in a convenient location with access to several cross country ski areas. The owners were great in assisting us with our car getting pushed out from the snow that blew in on the day of our arrival. Would recommend this rental to others."

  • Perfect spot for a group trip

"I came up with a group of 15 for a long weekend over new years and this house was the perfect place for a big group gathering. It's enormous, there were far more beds than we used. The kitchen and living areas are bigger than they appear in photos. The house is very well stocked -- the kitchen is great and the property is awesome. There's a firepit next to the hot tub which was SO much fun -- everyone could be having fun outside at the same time, and sharp rivalries developed between the group in the hot tub and the hardcore cold-lovers by the firepit ;). And the area truly has something for everyone -- Mad River and Sugarbush feel like they're just around the corner. There's masses of cross country skiing, and for hiking, there's an access to the Long Trail ten minutes drive from the house. We loved it. Overall the house is in great condition (a friend with a very severe mold allergy had trouble in the basement, but felt fine in the rest of the house), and it's a total bargain for the number of people it fits, all the amenities, and being so close to skiing!"

  • Our Foliage Get Away in the Northeast Kingdom

"My husband and I spent a week at this very nice country home in Barton, for our annual foliage vacation. Gail was very accessible and helpful from the very beginning of our interest in the home. I had several questions, that I needed answered before we could make our decision to rent, and Gail always got back to me very quickly to answer my questions. My husband and I found the house very comfortable and it had everything we needed, plenty of towels, hot water, kitchen accessories, wi fi worked well, all of which I cannot say for some other properties we have rented. Gail was available to us throughout our stay. She also had a personal greeting, on the dry erase board that greeted us, just inside the door, as well as an apple crisp and Vermont cheese, among other goodies, in the refrigerator. I would recommend this property for families, as there is plenty of space for children to play and make noise, as well as just for adults who like to get away from the hustle and bustle and have some quiet. Very nice view of the mountains, also, and very close to I91 to get to other parts of Vermont. A nice grocery store and two restaurants for breakfast/lunch all within a 5 minute drive, also."
