"This propery was exactly as described! The view of the lake is stunning and since it is marshy at the end where the house is located the lake side of the house is very peaceful. The numerous windows on the lakeside let in tons of light and were great for bird watching.
The traffic from the road is rather loud (especially the occasional tractor trailers!)but after a day full of outdoor activity we slept very well!
We had two elderly dogs with us and appreciated the owners willingness to let us bring our furry friends. One word of warning on that...the floors are painted wood which is great for keeping things clean, but lacks the traction needed by old, big dogs. More than once my German Shorthaired Pointer fell and couldn't get up without assistance.
The kitchen is wonderfully equipped. Using the washing machine is tricky, but once you realize that the door is finicky it works like a charm and it was great to have!
Overall a great place to stay in a central location!"

Spacious home with amazing views, entertainment and plenty of sleeping room
"We spent New Year's Eve at this home and had an incredible time. There were 9 of us and we all had beds to sleep in between the main house (4 double beds) and separate home office with large pullout couch.
The main family room has a big TV, large bar, L-shaped couch and huge fireplace with plenty of firewood. There is also a ping-pong table in the basement and pool table in the home office. The kitchen has all necessary appliances and plenty of pots/pans/etc. There is a grill outside. Just a 10 minute drive to Stowe mountain and 5 mins from downtown Stowe.
All-in-all an awesome home for a big group or family."

"This is the second time my family has stayed at these condos in Jay and we plan to return every year for our reunion...it was that good. From the very first time I reached out to Bill, the owner, he was very responsive, gracious, accommodating and really made us feel like the details of our stay would be taken care of right down to making sure there was propane in the gas tanks for a bbq. The condos are outfitted with everything you would need as if you were at home including a large variety of games to play, movies to watch, portable speakers for your iphones and books to read. The kitchens are complete with all the dishes, appliances and gadgets for family style dinners. The rooms were nicely appointed, the beds were comfortable and the linen, towels and toiletries were stocked. We loved using both condos since it was so convenient to have two kitchens and four bathrooms and having both condos allowed the kids to play downstairs while the adults could visit upstairs. We took advantage of the door to door resort shuttle service who took the kids to the pool and arcade. Within walking or a short driving distance, we visited the shops at the lodge, used the water park, swimming pool, golf course and ice skating rink. There are multiple hiking trails in the area and we hiked up one of them to the top of Jay mountain. We drove to Newport and rented bikes and rode to the Canadian border and then stopped for ice cream at the Pick & Shovel. We ended our trip with Sunday brunch at the Eastside Restaurant in Newport on the lake. We were sad that the week had to come to an end. Bill followed up during and after our stay to make sure everything was good. This was by far the best trip we have EVER had as a family. We look forward to staying at these lovely condos next year and repeating all of the adventures."

"I came for a short visit in the fall and loved it. The view from the cabin is exquisite. The owners are welcoming and friendly and make it easy to feel right at home. The location is excellent, close to good hikes, and easy access to shops. The cabin itself is very cozy, feels rustic but is clean and well supplied with all the essentials. Initially, I thought all these five star reviews might be too good to be true; but no, this place really is that wonderful."
