"My husband and I stayed two nights in June and the location to all that Stratton has to offer is excellent! Parking was a breeze with underground parking, the studio was clean, spacious, and exactly what we were looking for. The owner was wonderful to work with and emailed promptly. I would recommend this property and hopefully will rent it again!"

"5 of us came up from DC to spend a long weekend touring VT breweries and enjoying the autumn glory of Vermont, and this cabin was a wonderful home for us. Plenty of firewood, wifi (that made the lack of cell signal unimportant), beautiful view and removed from everything, but also a 12-15 minute drive into Waterbury for delicious food and local brews. John was very helpful and responsive despite being on vacation and kind for allowing for a late check out. Also the beds are super comfortable, and the cabin is well stocked with the desired accoutrements. Description and pictures are accurate. Feels like an authentic cozy Vermont mountain cottage. We would easily stay here again!
Waterbury must-go brew pubs and restaurants (best VT beer selection in state): Prohibition Pig (great bbq and beer), The Reservoir, Blackback pub, probably a few other places we didn't try.
Short drive to grocery, Ben and Jerry's Factory, apple cider mill."

"We have not once, but twice stayed with Sandra and her family at the Grist Mill, and both times had a perfect time- the property is beautiful and beautifully maintained, they are extremely friendly people, and I would recommend the property and the owners to any and all"

"The wife and I with our two teenage boys, found this fantastic condo available for a long weekend. I have been renting ski area condos for week/weekend trips for over 30 years. I must say that this was one of the best I have ever rented. FULLY stocked with everything you could need. Pots and pans in excellent condition. (never had that before in a rental) paper products and everyday supplies were abundant. Firewood right outside the door(never lit a fire) but a stack of starts was there at the ready. The short walk (30 Yards) to the slopes made it an easy start every morning and a great mid day stop. We bought our tickets online ahead of time and found we could pick them up Friday night at the clock tower, this made the trip even better. We never had to move the truck or stand in a ticket line. We skied right to the lift. Found the "Bubble" lift was the only line we had to stand in and avoided it for most of the trip. Never a line at any other lift all weekend.
The place is may be a wee bit difficult to find, but we were blessed to have the owners meet us at the bottom with the key and give us a personal tour up the mountain.
As for the owners. Two of the nicest people I have met in a long time. I can't wait to speak with them again and rent this unit over and over.
If there is a downside, it would have to be the steps. Not everything could be perfect!!!"
