  • Wonderful weekend in Vermont

"We returned to this wonderful house in the hills for a weekend’s skiing, and once again were really impressed by the cleanliness of the house and attention to detail shown by the owners. The small written instructions around the house cater for every eventuality, including how to light the log fire. There were holiday lights, garlands and wreaths scattered around and we felt really cozy as we sat watching Holiday Inn on the big TV screen. We tried a local restaurant (The Worthy Inn) in Woodstock, as recommended, and the food and beers were excellent. Well worth a visit, and Woodstock town looked beautiful in the snow. Once again, we were lucky to have fantastic skiing conditions – two feet of powder snow twenty minutes away at Killington - and it was a pleasure to come back to such a warm and inviting home at the end of each day, thank you."

  • Nice condo with screened in porch, big tvs, and lots to offer

"We really enjoyed this cute condo in Stowe, which was nicely remodeled (much cuter than the other condos at this resort). Owner Leslie was very attentive and answered all my questions very timely. The kitchen and bedrooms were quite small but the super comfy beds and linens, 3D tv in LR, flat screen in master, lots of movies, WiFi, and the big screened in porch made up for it. Having the washer and dryer in the condo was great for midweek laundry. My parents were with us, and this particular condo had only 5 steps from the parking lot. Some of the others had many, MANY more steps up or down. This resort had lots to offer (indoor pool, game room, sauna, jacuzzi, free movie rentals, extra kitchen equipment, tennis courts, basketball court, playground, midweek towel exchange) and was in a convenient location half way between the mountain and town, off Mountain Road. Our family hiked to 3 of the area waterfalls, Bingham Falls was the favorite because of the huge (freezing cold) water hole at the base of the falls for swimming and jumping off rocks. We went to the Chin, once by auto toll road and Long Trail, but husband and son hiked Hell Brook Trail up and Long Trail down on the north end of the mountain (be sure to buy a hiking map at one of the bike shops). The shops in town were fun, but not very many. Our fav was the Mercantile with all the samples. So much to do, so little time- we didn't put a dent in the list. Very fun area for summer vaca. Could have easily spent more than a week here. Oh and the CHEESE- we totally overdosed on cheese samples at Cabot Annex."

  • Great, simple, clean condo!

"Owner was very polite over phone and email, and very prompt with his responses and feedback. Business transactions were super easy and straightforward. Group of four came up on a Friday evening after work to a beautifully snowed-in West Dover, VT for two nights (left Sunday morning). Aside from driving past the entrance road off Route 100 (no lights on sign, my own fault really though), found the place with ease. We found the place very well maintained and clean, warm, and cozy. Sticky-notes all over with instructions and tips (really appreciated these), fully stocked woodpile - BRING AN AXE AND NEWSPAPER! (we did, luckily). While there was a ton of wood, it was all HUGE and there was no kindling or fire-starter material. Luckily it was very dry. Hot tub was nice, although a little small, and some water overflowed with 4 (average-sized) 20-year olds in it, but it was GREAT to come back to after a long day of skiing. Kitchen was well stocked and we found everything we needed. Bedrooms were very comfortable, and bathrooms clean and well-maintained. Overall, an excellent weekend, and a great place to rent. HIGHLY recommended!"
